u can install it in any SE/OE firmware. just put the files in ms0:/psp/game150 for the app.
then boot it up at the game sub menu.
u need to do sumthing else for the plugin. read the readme
for 1.5 u need devhook in order the plugin to work.

are you sure? before this sum1 did mentioned he use a umd. later its his fault he
didnt insert a umd becoz he said the no umd support already enabled.
the "no umd support" doesnt support some games.
in ur case, its kinda familiar. bcoz i did expirienced this once.
set ur recovery setting to default and insert a umd then boot it up.

my psp doesn't have recovery file...

okay, shut down ur psp.
then hold the RIGHT trigger button while powering it up.
it should lead u to a blue screen menu.

go to configuration, then if the NO UMD feature is ENABLED.
just hit x on it to disable it.
u dont hav any idea it existed? mostly shop owner set it to
enable by default without letting us knowing it.

yes it is possible go over at psp-hacks to do some search. there are downgrader out there.

Regarding playing video in PSP, i have following question as below, appreciate reply ok.
1. After converting my file to MP4 or AVC, i can rename the file anything and put them in VIDEO folder? no need to name them in M4VXXXX.MP4 format? why certain video file (like movie trailer) put in ANV folder? can the M4Vxxx.MP4 put in the video folder and not the MP_Root folder?
2. I though the PSP can play MP4,MOV,AVI,DivX out of the box and no conversion is needed for firmware 3.10 OE-A?

the psp can only play MP4 and PMP video format.
the custom firmware only unlocks full scale resolution the psp can handle.
u must put the files in MP_ROOT folders. or else, it doesnt work.
