QUOTE(epie @ Jul 6 2020, 11:42 PM) yes both imou bullet and imou ranger2 is 2mp camera If u use Ezviz, u can only link the IMOU camera using ONVIF protocol. So, only video streaming only. dahua nvr is quite expensive compare to ezviz nvr....any reason why? can i use ezviz nvr x5c for my setup? as the price is below rm300 i cannot find dahua nvr with that kinda of price Other function all not support. Unless u jz want to do record only, then ok.. U can control the Camera using IMOU app. So u will hv 2 app, 1 for recorder 1 for camera. epie liked this post

pretty noob on this
my house is in the midst of renovation. I am planning to install few outdoor CCTVs, IPTV precisely. Already asked wireman to get few power cable ready at few points such as carporch and alley behind the house. However i am not planning to pull network cable. Any recommendation? for safety reason and just outdoor cameras, 4 units max. For indoor, probably just 1 or 2 IPTV and will off whenever there is people at home for privacy concern. |

QUOTE(CanonLee @ Jul 9 2020, 10:33 AM) pretty noob on this If you mean IP Camera then you need pull network cable for every camera back to the NVR or Poe switch. IP camera don't need cable for power.my house is in the midst of renovation. I am planning to install few outdoor CCTVs, IPTV precisely.
