So far Im okay with hikvision. As a seller, what do you think if compare dahua with hikvision?

planning for a bigger project, so need to consider if there are better options.

Taobao alot.... I believe local market pun alot...

Depends on your need and spec. Some camera Hikvision is better, so Dahua better. So normally we will study the project requirement then only recommend.

Why use Built-in 24Port PoE model for this 32Ch NVR?
u can buy the non-PoE model DS-7732NI-K4 and get the PoE Switch, cheaper.
Also, easier for future service and maintenance.

But poe switch is expensive tho.

Currently plan

7732 24poe ports + 8 gigabit poe switch

Go for 7732 w/o PoE. Get HIKVISION POE switch L2 unmanaged. 16+16. Lesser cable run.
Don’t have price list with me now.

Yes, but u better calculate the power budget.
Each camera have diff power consumption.

Also, can use ezviz cloud with no issues?

Havent calculate all. Cam about rm 6.2k, nvr 1.2k, 4TB x 2 RM840, UPS X 2 RM398 each, dlink ac1300 poe AP x 2 rm500 each.

I dont use ezviz cloud for previous cctv setup. All using hik-connect.


Just installed the first patch panel. Maybe can complete tomorrow. It really is pain in the ass installing all the cameras in hot weather 😂😂 but it is worth it. Left about 5 cameras to install. .

i was quoted 4 cam (2MP) complete with installation and 2 years warranty. (not sure how many channel but accessible via phone using wifi) for 2K.

recently, the safety issue has risen in my home garden area.
Yesterday got break in in my neighborhood.
I am planning to install CCTV but didnt want to call vendor to install as it will cost a few thousand.

I plan to buy those wireless connection to wifi and install myself...

Is it difficult to install myself at car porch?
