I think this CCTV is not related to surveillance, but the "China Central Television". They won the brand award.

My friends bought one cctv from this brand. Now alarm system is combine with cctv. its means, the cctv you bought actually have a build in alarm system, connecting with bluetooth, wifi and auto calling system direct fromyour phone. It sound interesting and price is much lower.

Hi all. May i know how to install a remote mic to a router or DVR so that I can remote access to the mic via router or DVR to get the live voice ?

I don't need to connect it to a camera. Just need the voice.

Many thanks

For 4 wire LAN cable, is this good enough to transmit power when connected POE ports/adapter?

Attached Image

Or needs 8 wire LAN cable?

I'm not sure about those 2 extra wires, just some random snapshot i took from product page

Just checked my poe adapter cables and apparently only has 4 wires inside. Guess it's more than enough

Btw, for the hikvision camera you're using with chinese firmware. Are the days displayed also in chinese, or do you just enable display for date? Was your nvr multilanguage or chinese only, forgot already ar

Honestly I do not know if 4 wires LAN cable will work for POE, best is to get the 8 wires LAN cable.
If you have cost concern, just get the normal 8 wires Cat5 LAN cable, it will work with POE.

According to Wikipedia, POE is achievable using 4 wires LAN cable, but only on 10/100 mode A.
Again I don't know what your POE port/adapter uses which mode, to be on the safe side, just get the 8 wires LAN cable.

The 10 wires cable picture you posted is actually 8 wires normal LAN cable + 2 wires power line, merged into a "single" cable. Normally you would use this if your setup or device does not support POE, hence you have to use normal power lines to power up your device.

Take a read in Wiki, or any other website.

Me too have purchased Cat6 (Cat6a) cable from Taobao, definitely cheaper than getting it in Malaysia.
I bought from this seller:

Here are some pictures of my Cat6 cable purchase:

If you want higher resolution support with H.265, you can get [url=[/url] NVR.
I purchased this DS-7808N-K2/8P NVR for my home use.
Price of DS-7808N-K2/8P will be more expensive than the one you have, but I am not sure if the NVR has English language version.

Bro, are you able to checkout with TGDS option?
I tried using your link, but now it won't let me use TGDS
Only consolidate option

I tried too and no matter how, does not have TGDS option.
Looks like they found out and took away TGDS for this item, no more cheap shipping fee bye.gif
No choice but to looks for alternative, get from other seller or use EZbuy prime on item similar to this.

How does a poe adapter cable look like?

The hikvision cameras are chinese firmware. NVR is multi-language. The dates are all displayed in chinese.

I just bought 6 more Hikvision cameras. Going to DIY wire up my house soon and connect them. I hope the NVR is able to power all 8 cameras at once though. Was thinking of upgrading to k2/8p version.

Luckily I just bought the cables through TGDS last week . 100M of it. Seems quite heavy.

I think they started today disabling from TGDS because yesterday I was still able to checkout items to estimate the shipping price sad.gif
Guess I'll have to go with ezbuy prime
This one seems to be cheapest so far

Which models you got for 6 more units?

Btw, how's detection so far for motion detection?
Do you use email notification with pictures/ivms app or both?

I got three types, 2 each.

- 2MP with audio

I've never used motion detection before so I cannot comment. You tried?

Anybody DIY their house with CCTV before? Should I use a conduit or cover to shield my cctv cables? What are the types of conduits available to use?

Not DIY, but currently doing renovation.
I asked my wireman to setup CCTV cabling in my house, they use conduit for CCTV cables.

I see. I am planning to DIY myself. So have to buy conduit myself and all. So want to know roughly how the wiring should be done.

Is there any analogue DVR still available in the market?
Mine is spoiled, and contractor tell me need to replace the whole system as the current market DVR all are in HD which my current analogue cameras will not work with it.
How true is this?

Hi, i am planning to install cctv for my new house but i have no knowledge on this.
May i know how you all install the cctv? DIY or ask the seller install for you?
If i ask my electrician to place the Cat6 cable first then only ask the CCTV seller help me install, will it cause any issue and will it cost cheaper? Thank you.
