Anyway better don't drive that fast. Although it's fun...But i should not advocate such thing here. sweat.gif tongue.gif

Having said that I'm contemplating to change my car. 2009 Persona B line probably can fetch 15k only haha. Interested with Sup S or Preve CFE. Got big discount for last year cars right? biggrin.gif

Cose no longer carry Syntium 7000... had to go to a nearby petronas station to buy it. SA assured me that it will be fine with the official receipt from the station.

I just went to my local Proton showroom today. The SA said 2016 are mostly showroom car while 2015 are stored in storage yard under the sun. So, both got pro and con...RM4k diff. Maybe 2016 is more desirable?

Having said that, the SA said don't have Exec. Only Standard and Premium?

Just topup AC gas after 3 years of use. Been on a roadtrip one malaysia From KB-BP-AS-KB.

I notice there is this "woosh" sound coming from AC I think when turn it on from time to time during the road trip. Also, before topup AC, noticed that when open AC max, seems like something is blocking the AC. Need to change to outside air/inside air few times until problem disappear. Maybe its the sponges?

Tyre Update

Old Tyre

Fitted on : ~50k km (Feb 2015)
Taken off : ~115k km (Feb 2017)
Tyre : Michelin Primacy 3 ST
Size : 215/45R17

Dry and wet grip is exceptional. Nice for conservative fast driving. Comfortable and quiet up until end of life. The only downside is the price.

New Tyre

Fitted on : ~!15k km (Feb 2017)
Tyre : Dunlop Formula D05
Size : 225/45R17

Too early to figure out the tyre characteristics. Have only done 50km. So far, quicker steering response. Comfier due to taller sidewall. But much louder than the Michelins even at end of life.

Hmm, my PS3 also due for change soon I think. Already around 30K KM. Still running strong but checked with usual dealer, PS4 now can get for 440/piece, not including GST. My PS3 was 400/piece. cry.gif

Still considering if wanna take PS4 or change to Primacy. That's around 400/piece. Wondering if worth the difference.

Depends on your driving needs.. Primacy is adequate for touring.. track work or touge.. definitely ps4 or ps3..

I moved away from michelins as the price quoted was nearer to 500/pcs for 215.. dont dare ask 225..

Trying 225/45 on stock rims now..

Probably going down to 16" later..

I bought my ps4 for 455 each w/o gst. Much more stable in the corners plus more quiet for now.

What modifications do you do after the warranty is up?

So far I've claimed:
reverse sensor (left)
door rubber seal
2 free new tyres

Warranty about 1.5 years left. I will hit the 5 year warranty first before the mileage.

Persona non elegance.

Better in almost every way biggrin.gif. Maintenance cost is much higher than the persona, but you get much better performance, comfort and handling. It's almost 2x the price anyway. laugh.gif

Hehe yeah. But one thing Persona is better.... is the reliability. I simply browsed this thread and V2. Looks like there are a few Sup S needed tow truck? sweat.gif

What's the biggest concern getting a Sup S? My mechanic said the CVT is prone to breakdown. That scared me.

Mostly caused by those who expect instant acceleration with cvt. Progressive throttle is enough.

I mean...what's the symptom? Can't change gear at all? Or vibration? Or stalled? etc

Uhm... not so sure. There are no physical gears.

Just remember that the turbo in this thing is small. You can expect to accelerate faster than many other cars out there but don't expect it to reach speeds like 180 to 200 very quickly.

SS is quite reliable. People only post in forums when the car is problematic. Usually that is the one which will get attention. Lots of happy owners will be missed by people.

don't think so...COSE need customer to purchase oil from them. Or else, they margin got slashed.....don't simply bring ur oil to SC ...later say bye bye to your warranty as they couldn't ascertain the source of our oil.
