I've only reached around 180KM/H till date on NKVE, and that was for a short stretch when driving to COSE. Did you achieve 220Km/H while driving down a slight incline?

My Persona Elegance 1.6 B line also can hit 190 bro (GPS 180). Even on highway bends. Lol
Where is your turbo powahhhhh? tongue.gif

Didnt tekan for too long, but mine also seems a bit slow 😂😂

Hehe
Anyway better don't drive that fast. Although it's fun...But i should not advocate such thing here. sweat.gif tongue.gif

Having said that I'm contemplating to change my car. 2009 Persona B line probably can fetch 15k only haha. Interested with Sup S or Preve CFE. Got big discount for last year cars right? biggrin.gif

I just went showroom test drove Suprima S. 2015 stocks still got, up till 12K rebate bro. If Im able do, I definitely trade in my old persona to get it. Exec/Premium also got. 2016 rebate 8K. Desperate liao  rclxms.gif

I just went to my local Proton showroom today. The SA said 2016 are mostly showroom car while 2015 are stored in storage yard under the sun. So, both got pro and con...RM4k diff. Maybe 2016 is more desirable?

Having said that, the SA said don't have Exec. Only Standard and Premium?

Persona non elegance.

Better in almost every way biggrin.gif. Maintenance cost is much higher than the persona, but you get much better performance, comfort and handling. It's almost 2x the price anyway. laugh.gif

Hehe yeah. But one thing Persona is better.... is the reliability. I simply browsed this thread and V2. Looks like there are a few Sup S needed tow truck? sweat.gif

What's the biggest concern getting a Sup S? My mechanic said the CVT is prone to breakdown. That scared me.

Mostly caused by those who expect instant acceleration with cvt. Progressive throttle is enough.

I mean...what's the symptom? Can't change gear at all? Or vibration? Or stalled? etc

Uhm... not so sure.  There are no physical gears.

Just remember that the turbo in this thing is small. You can expect to accelerate faster than many other cars out there but don't expect it to reach speeds like 180 to 200 very quickly.

I see.

SS is quite reliable. People only post in forums when the car is problematic. Usually that is the one which will get attention. Lots of happy owners will be missed by people.

That's good to hear. Honest I hope my mechanic is wrong lol because I'm eyeing this car. tongue.gif

Just apply 53k loan for used Suprima, interest rate around 4.07 by ambank, around 670 monthly. Does it a good rate?

Year of manufacturing? Mileage?
Now Proton has 2015 stock for ~RM60K.

Just got a used Suprima S year 2013.

So far my FC is 8.4L/100KM.

How much to change engine mounting and gearbox mounting?

Thanks.
*
That's not too bad considering most users reported ~10L/100km?

Planning to get a suprima S - Premium. Wondering if this car has alot of problems as now comparing it with mazda 2 hatchback. Is the car worth getting? Getting either 2016/2017 car
*
I can only say that Mazda 2 has battery consumption issue. And that battery is not cheap. (RM5xx for compatible, 7xx for Ori). You have to add that into your total cost of ownership. You can go over that thread and read it up.

This is my average fuel consumption. That was my lowest average so far, usually is around 9.8L/100KM.
Any suggestions on how to further reduce the fuel consumption will be appreciated.

PS. I do aware turbo car usually uses more fuel but sometimes, when I don't feel like in so called "racing mode", I just wanna drive in relaxed manner where I can save more fuel. 😁
*
Wow not as bad as I thought haha.

Actually turbo is supposed to be more fuel efficient. E.g. 1.6 turbo should be more efficient than 2.0 NA. 1.2T more effecient that 1.6 NA etc. Look at VW Vento 1.2TSI vs 1.6NA.

But too bad Proton's CFE is just a bolt-on turbo. The engine block etc. built up is not with turbo design in mind.
