Bought a Sandisk 64GB Ultra Dual Drive Type-C OTG for my beloved N7.

What other phone is using USB Type-C?

Most likely, the same way how they limited your Note7 battery capacity to 60% last time.

Read properly, that piece of news was for the first recall. Doubting its reliability.

Because apparently, there are a lot of "hungry fishes" swimming around here.. and most have smell blood and waiting for SME to put something in the water.. and the fishes are all ready to bite.

Can't believe how awesome the phone really looks without the casing. When bought didn't really pay much attention to it, quickly put on SP and casing. After 1st recall didn't use SP found the screen so awesome. Now without casing it's a real beauty.

Since we been talking about the refund and return so much. can we share a bit of personal experience here? Set aside the exploding problem.

I am not a Sammy fan boy. I always try different phone. From day 1, motorola, siemen, alcatel, sony ericsson, LG, samsung, Nokia, XiaoMi, Lenovo, HuaWei, Asus, HTC. I likes to play with different interface/UI to enjoy different user experience.

This is so far the Best Phone i have owned. Nice handling, not too heavy, nice camera, loud speaker. Of course there will always be room for improvement.

1. I have some issue with the speaker being place at the bottom. i like using my pinkie finger to support the phone and the pinkie sits right on top of the speaker
2. Edge glass. so hard to draw on the edge of glass.
3. Can be faster (greedy)

BTW, i turn off iris scanner since yesterday which i feel the phone always somehow feel a tiny bit warmer then a machine cold feel since i turn on iris scanner. maybe just paranoid?

Samsung offers $100 credit to swap your Note 7 for another Galaxy phone
http://www.androidcentral.com/samsung-offe...er-galaxy-phone

With the brand damage caused by not one but two recalls, Samsung is offering incentives to Note 7 customers in the U.S. to keep them loyal to the Samsung brand. Anyone with the now canceled phone can claim $100 bill credit if they choose another Samsung smartphone, compared to just $25 if they choose another brand or a refund.

yes, this is the right way to keep ppl within the brand.

if offered... i might just grab another Samsung phone as replacement... but alas... we should be happy if SME don't botch this recall.

agreed on point 1 and 2... personally, i feel curved edges is really useless. might look nice but not practical on phones.
