Hi bro/sis, im still using note7 coral blue color from HK set, no others phone can beat /match it even ip7.

Just a small suggestions why not we group together n links to worldwide n ask Samsung Company settle the solutions n continue production.

I will keep it one 1set for myself daily used, during holiday at HK, bought 2sets of note 7 Coral Blue n 1set LG v20.

LG v20 sold at rm3k few days ago. The style look old schools phone n not sporty.

Good day bro/sis smile.gif smile.gif

+1

I'd even buy an original Note 7 and save it as a collector's item.

I could even start printing T-shirts:

"I'm so hardcore, even my phone is dangerous"
"Living on the S6Edge, calling on Note7"
"This phone is on fire"
"Fight fire with Note7"
"ReCall of Duty"
"Smoking Hot"
"Using Note7, and still cool"
"Unable to return phone to sender (Attachment is too cool)"
"Spoiled goods, but still functional"
"The fault in our Note 7's"

I believe there's some truth in it, else Samsung will not just shut it down. Of course press publicity will increase the pressure for Samsung to act fast. Though same as you, I'm super reluctant to give up on this phone

Indeed, CNN worldwide news said that all note 7 user based on 20% of 2.5 billions units sold still using as a daily rider7..

Since its quiet n no cases at Amazon after ip7 launch n Samsung global recall n7 n discontinued production.

Sounds look like syndicate made all share market profit from Apple n Samsung, well when note 7 face incident of n7 explore Samsung share falling down lost of billions.

When Apple announced ip7 launch n release date the Apple share falling down as well coz same design n just water resistant only.

Good day bro/sis smile.gif smile.gif

Just got my call from maxis. ...

Stuck with the contract option for either s7e or p9 plus. ...

No option for refund...

Forced to choose. ...

Going for s7e coz the camera n screen resolution n ip68.

Sadly will be charged 101 coz on maxis one plan 128 for next 24 months.

The waiver will be 101 for the next three bills.

So. ..will end up paying 2424 minus 303 = 2121....

Suxks coz still paying 101 for a lesser product

Maxis vs users score -->1 : 0

Maxis was loan shark n crocodile, not only bike with swallowing u 1short or slowly n no changes nor options for u.

Cheers.

Sigh...i am genuinely thinking of keeping my note 7. Although i have no plan on travelling by plane in the near future but its kinda impoosible for me not to travel within 2 years. I am still hesitating. Maxis is giving me till 6/11 to decide before they charge me the next Rm101. I am and will be working on some sports events (golf tournament and gp) which means outdoor hot sun and long hour. The past 3 days been really good. I dont find my phone hotter than usual. I even turn on my torchlight for 1hr+. The battery still last me from 4am till 8.30pm and still have 30% left. How can i give up on such a good phone easily? Been asking for some opinion frrom my close friends and families. Noone seems to object if i continue to keep my phone., LOL

How you know when or where u carry around will it explore?

Thinking your friend's, family & unknown people outside around & always no.1 safety 1st.

This is Global Recall By Samsung & Worldwide as well.

My Note 7 Coral Blue HK set also return to Samsung Service Center at LowYat Plaza 4th floor & waiting for refund around 1-2 weeks time.

Samsung has announced a new upgrade program for users of its ill-fated Galaxy Note7 smartphone. Under the program, dubbed Galaxy Upgrade, those trading in their Note7 unit for either a Galaxy S7 or S7 edge will be able to upgrade to a Galaxy S8 or Note 8 next year.

During the upgrade, customers will only have to shell out 50% of the cost of their Galaxy S7 device. Also included in the upgrade program is a 50% discount on LCD repair costs, that users would be able to avail twice.

Open until November 30 this year, the upgrade program has currently only been announced for South Korea, and those who've already exchanged their Note7 unit for a Galaxy S7/S7 edge will also be eligible for it. Details on how interested users can join the program will be made available soon.

Sadly, there's currently no word on if and when the newly announced Galaxy Upgrade program - or a similar program - will be made available in other markets worldwide.

If you recall, nearly a couple of weeks ago, Samsung said it is currently investigating the reason behind Galaxy Note7 fire incidents, and will share more information in weeks to come.

Now, according to a new Wall Street Journal report, the South Korean company still doesn't know what exactly caused the fire incidents.

"We recognized that we did not correctly identify the issue the first time and remain committed to finding the root cause," a company spokesperson said. "Our top priority remains the safety of our customers and retrieving 100% of the Galaxy Note 7 devices in the market."

It's worth mentioning that there have been reports that even members of the Galaxy S8 development team have now been tasked to find out the root cause of the problem. This makes sense, especially after reports last week that said if the investigation drags on, the release of the Galaxy S8 may have to be aborted.

Ìm so undecided.

Note 5 recently turun harga to RM2199, but outdated spec at a high price (bad currency)
S7 Edge, expensive and nothing that I like
Mi5s - maybe the best inexpensive fast good option, while waiting for the next note iteration
OP3 - better than Mi5s IMHO, but RM400 more expensive, might make the next transition more painful.

But then maybe the phone is good enough, there is no need for the next Note series...except stylus la...

What did you ppl choose? Mostly S7, the rest OP3 ka?

Loh, save all your money for 6 months later all super mobile phone will release. whistling.gif

Just use the Nokia 3310 is the best deal. icon_rolleyes.gif

Many people still hold onto their Galaxy Note7 units, despite Samsung having issued a second recall of the smartphone and discontinuing it altogether. These would-be arsonists will soon have to dodge a software update if they want to keep using the entire capacity of the handset's fire-catching battery, at least in Europe.

Following a similar move it made in South Korea back in September, Samsung will issue a software update for Note7 units in Europe that will cap the battery charge to 60%. So once this is installed, no matter what you do you won't be able to convince your Note7 to charge its battery past 60%. That is sure to severely limit the phone's endurance on a charge, so clearly Samsung is hoping this will convince everyone to turn in the Note7.

The update in question will begin rolling out in Europe on October 31, which is next Monday. Samsung says two thirds of Note7 units sold in Europe have been returned up until this point, which means a third of them are still out there, just waiting for the perfect moment to spontaneously combust. Seriously though, if you still have your Note7, go return it. You'll get your money back or another Samsung smartphone if that's what you want (and if there's a price difference it will be refunded of course).
