If you like the product, you'll like it regardless of the flaws.

My approach is always to wait and see till something finalize only we drop comments on it.
Strata does not allow extensive renovations. But adding a solar panel should not be a significant issue unless it affects the entire structure/etc.

Best to inquire directly with the developer for the matter for a clearer, final answer.

How bad is it? They are using a different main con for Parkfield. Hope this main con will perform better.

Obee would it be ok if we are to that under strata title? Or it has nothing to do with that
*
As chiahau has mentioned, strata title forbids any renovation to the external facade of the property. internally it shouldn't be a problem. however, the issue with the solar panel is that it is lying on the roof without any change to the facade. so it's better to check with SA on that.

SA wont be able to give u a straight answer.

Its up to the JMB once its setup.

So take some time to involve yourself in the general meeting etc. If everyone votes on it, any "prohibition" of strata titled place can be overturned.

Hmm. I can't recall what the SA answered when I asked that question but seems like can install. Just need to make sure follow rules I suppose.

As you said, once JMB is formed then anything also lepas la laugh.gif

Hmm, i wonder if you guys plan to install grills on a strata title property? It will look funny if it is made optional. Imagine 1 house will grill and another without. From the security point of view, it makes the unit without grill an easy and prime target for burglary.

I will not be installing any grills.

I'll alternate between security glass for smaller windows and security screen/mesh for bigger panels/glass doors.

Strata or not, its better not to leave the glass naked... u know how effective the current bangla guards are la...

I may grill up the man cave sliding window. The insecure feeling of being exposed is strong. Yes, it's an open concept but better safe than sorry. Pressure sensitive alarm system also cannot protect you 100% sweat.gif
