I was told by Maybank Customer Executive that Maybank does not send the credit card termination letter to me via post.
For other banks, it is reasonable for ex-cardholders to request for the credit card termination letter, from the bank.

Yes, faster via card centre.
Launched yesterday, I applied at 2.00 p.m. yesterday, got my card 4 hours later from The Gardens Card Centre. I think I was the fastest person to own this card in this thread.
In conclusion, card centre is faster. Not any branch ya.
Since the rest of the population in Malaysia are not so well-versed in credit card as us in this thread, that will put you as around the first 10 people in the whole Malaysia to have this credit card.Launched yesterday, I applied at 2.00 p.m. yesterday, got my card 4 hours later from The Gardens Card Centre. fruitie sis, are your last four digits of your Maybank FC Barcelona Visa Signature 0001?

Lowest VS' requirement in history, even lower than its Plat.
Obviously, Maybank wants to encourage more cardholders to sign up for this card. Insisting the annual Income of at least RM70,000 will reduce the number of eligible cardholders. For a win-win solution, Maybank reduces the minimum annual income, below the requirement of Platinum credit cards (RM60,000 per card).
Regardless of what the real reason is, as long as we cardholders can benefit for the 2% cashback for generic spending, we should be happy. During May and August next year, most of us will divert almost all of their spending to this card, to gain tasty 10% cashback.
