That's just 8 months? I have a feeling it will be charged only next year's November. Have you checked with CS?

i was told that i've used my card beyond the annual renewal date, and they will charge me AF base on pro rate, anybody experience this?

I helped my boss to apply for this credit card but they rejected the application citing "high commitment" as the reason. What does "high commitment" mean?

Asked through MB FB. Got a more detailed explaination from their call CS:

If the expiry month is Aug, then the system will charge on the 27th of either July/Aug/Sept.

ie. 27th of the same month or 27th the month before or 27th the month after.

so they will advise the worst case scenario, i.e 27th of the month before.

I just called and this CS confirmed mine will be charged on Sept 2017. One month prior to my anniversary year.
Oh well. I will call again next time.

Anyway, overseas transactions for groceries confirmed no cash back. Only 5xTP.

Don't think there is any gift? Maybank hardly have any credit card promo gifts and so far didn't see anything in their website either 

The poster up there does show apply online will have complimentary gift but T&C applies and not sure what's the T&C.
They didn't even ask me if I wanted to increase my CL. Anyway, I can request to increase CL next time, just increased two months ago.

Yes. Just appeared visa card. Not possible to be the platinum card, cuz the platinum card is debit card. Won't appeared in credit card section. Lol

I applied CL increase last year (conventional), both conventional & Islamic CL increased together with same amount.

now with FCB VS, CL also auto-increased for both conventional and Islamic.
