QUOTE(kart @ Jan 18 2017, 10:00 PM) Good to hear that, maskedchan. Here is the list of the AEON Supermarkets that sell AEON Gift Vouchers, plus the ones found by cybpsych: AEON Supermarket - IOI Mall (also for purchase of Aeon Gift Vouchers) [ source] AEON Supermarket - Kinta City, Ipoh, Perak (also for purchase of Aeon Gift Vouchers) [ source] AEON Supermarket - Mahkota Cheras (also for purchase of Aeon Gift Vouchers) [ source] AEON Supermarket - Permas Jaya, JB (also for purchase of Aeon Gift Vouchers) [ source] AEON Supermarket - Rawang (also for purchase of Aeon Gift Vouchers) [ source] AEON Supermarket - Taiping, Perak (also for purchase of Aeon Gift Vouchers) [ source] QUOTE(kelvinlzy @ Jan 26 2017, 05:15 PM) I can confirm purchasing Aeon vouchers at Aeon Metro Prima is under Groceries as the cashier will bring you go down to customer service counter (next to the grocery cashier) to pay. SMKT is written on the credit card slip. Been doing this all the while. QUOTE(ytan053 @ Feb 28 2017, 11:37 AM) Anyone purchased grocery voucher from Tesco and Aeon (please add on other grocery list) and eligible for the 5% cash back too? If that's the case, looks like can maximise the cash back on certain months. refer list compiled by kart

QUOTE(fruitie @ Feb 28 2017, 06:12 PM) Tesco yes but not AEON. Only certain ones as they usually sell the vouchers in customer service area which is usually at departmental area. QUOTE(MGM @ Feb 28 2017, 09:07 PM) Remember to use gift vouchers b4 expiry esp Tesco. I learned the hard way. Using topup card like AeonBig or Tesco TnG is better. QUOTE(cybpsych @ Mar 1 2017, 07:34 AM) refer list compiled by kartThanks a lot! Looks like for Aeon Bandar Utama, it is not likely to purchase the Aeon voucher since the cs is at the departmental store. Thank you for the reminder on the expiry date of Tesco voucher!

I am not sure about you but Maybank VS customer support is quite good and fast. Also comparing it to other credit cards, the number of entries you need to press before able to speak to a CS is actually quite little. If your applied for the card after may 2016 then probably your renewal date is only starting from May 2018. However there might be a bad news if you card is approved before Dec 2016 then you need to spend 50k annual to be able to request for a free AF waiver. Only card approved after Dec 2016 will get reduced AF waiver by spending only 30k.

Correct me if I am wrong, let say my card was approved and received in Feb 2017, the annual fee will be charged either in Jan 2018 or Feb 2018, right?

Because how will they calculate if your expenses is above 50k when 2017 to 2018 is free? I'm assuming they will charge in 2019 when they can monitor expenses made fr 2018 to 2019. I don't think they will charge in 2018 unless they expect you to call them 1 year later to waive AF charged 1 year ago...

It's the same thing for those swipe 12x to waive AF. You have to swipe within one year to waive for following year. First year AF is free for the current year, in this VS' case it is supposedly charged the moment it's approved which is Feb 2017 but it's waived.

I remembered some of my cards previously gets AF charged after 1 year of activation and those didn't have any 1st year waiver. They must have changed then..

It's better to check with CS especially those having different MBB cards.
