QUOTE(jkngo2003 @ Oct 19 2017, 09:21 AM) shared my story on this application May be try your trick to avoid the annual fee as well, mind to PM the name of the customer service staff for reference?i have apply this barcelona card on last thursday and get approved after 6pm. and i get my card on this tuesday at my home in sarawak. another one is my visa signature card. my card expired date is 06/20 and i will be charged annual in june 2017. i have terminated it just before the annual fee charged. when i apply barcelona card online, i oso click for visa signature(just for fun), but both card approved. i have received the card and the expired date os 06/20 same as barcelona card. then i call cs about the annual fee and she mention tat this year no annual fee and next year oso dont have annual fee coz my expired date is 06/20 and annual fee should be in june 2018 but still not reach one year usage. so that the annual fee only be charged in june 2019. this kind of case happen to me in 2015 as i apply the signature card in august 2015 and annual fee charge in june 2017. i ask cs why my card expired date is 06/20 coz it follow my existing maybank2 card expired date. |

Anyway, until today still no AF charged for my generic VS. I supposed it follows my other conventional cards' anniversary which is in April. Unless I'm being charged in Nov but until now still nothing, I was expecting in Sept or Oct.

i got charged AF 27.10.17, called to request waiver ,got it today. Last year also same i got waiver, actual swipes (groceries) way below requirement, but alot of extra "debits", BT cash refund, include that sure way above RM50k, may be that helped to get waiver?

QUOTE(MGM @ Nov 4 2017, 06:16 PM) i didnt use MBVS to do BT, yes i agree with fruitie, u are stucked if AF not waived.I use MBV to receive BT payments, overpayment refund is "debit" QUOTE(tonytyk @ Nov 4 2017, 07:12 PM) from the monthly CB, u can see i swiped way below the max RM1766, noway near RM30k, maybe only RM12-15k.QUOTE(fruitie @ Nov 4 2017, 07:35 PM) I don't dare to use VS to risk for BT as MBB BT is 12 months and if cannot waive AF but there are still ongoing BTs. you are right. should not use VS to apply for BT. Use it to receive BT payments , can.Well, unless do early settlement and cancel the card but then it defeats the purpose of BT. |
