Even the KTM already accepts payment cards directly at the gate.
MRT (or Prasarana) are extremely lazy and inefficient in implementing these stuffs.
The technology (software and hardware) is already at the gates and also available at most of the revenue buses.

MRT quite sometime already.. I’ve been doing that since last year as my tng card was expired and another spare card giving error n I didn’t go to tng hub to check further.

What a joke Public Bank. Of all the payment they go and enable Garmin Pay instead of Apple Pay. As if more ppl in Malaysia are using Garmin products.

It's all about meeting customers' needs.

So what if it's being charged, I would rather use Apple Pay where possible and not some other DC/CC payment system where I have to expose my card details.

In any case, my go-to payment method nowadays is Apple Pay via Wise. So the other banks have lost the transaction commissions they would've gotten if they had Apple Pay support.

Does anyone have issues verifying Maybank cards on their watch?
It keeps on asking to go to the app, approve Secure2u yet still doesn't show as verified :/

Same problem here. Had to resort to selecting call Maybank option to get customer support to verify the watch on their side. After 30 mins later, my card was verified on the watch app

Any progress update on this?

Yeh just to update on this, the app verification seems to be broken.
I contacted support via chat. They asked for a few info then 30 mins after the chat all my cards were verified.

A bit mafan for now, but hopefully they'll fix this soon!
