Every year's July 7th that period is HLB Connect Day (previously known as Digital Day), they will have banking promo.
But yeah, manifest Apple Pay is part of their plan for this year.

Curious if this is speculation on your part, or have you heard something?

I know HLB was saying coming soon for awhile but I haven’t seen any indication it will be announced this coming HLB Connect Day.

Not me speculating. Jasilu90 was the one.
I only pointed out that period is usually for HLB’s Connect Day.

I won before during the good old Digital Days and some contests in between. These days I hardly follow anymore but yeah I won more than RM 800 in the 2019 Digital Day I think. In overall, I got more than RM 1k from HLB. They published the winners list though.

Sorry for the misunderstanding.
I said that Apple Pay might be announced on that day.
Because I saw the post saying that something big will happen in July.
But judging from the post in previous years, it's just a digital day.

I tried to add Maybank cards to my Apple Pay. Keep getting "Could not add card" error. Anyone knows what is the issue? I can add the card just fine on my wife's iPhone 14 Pro.

Had this issue with maybank few months ago they solved with apple at the back end

But they couldn’t solve for over 3 weeks until I officially lodge complaint to their complaint department
Now waiting them to solve…

So as of July 2024, Malaysian financial institutions (FIs) that support Apple Pay are:
- Maybank (American Express, Mastercard and Visa credit and debit cards)
- AmBank (Mastercard and Visa credit cards)
- Standard Chartered (Mastercard and Visa credit cards)
- HSBC (Mastercard and Visa credit cards)
- Wise (Visa prepaid card)
- RHB (Visa credit and debit cards)

Are there any remaining FIs I missed out or any upcoming releases?

I wonder y most apps even international one don’t support add royalty card to Apple wallet. Even like adidas enable it for Singapore and most countries but Malaysia still can’t add to Apple wallet.

*I know we can use pass2U but just simply not perfect yet.
