Suddenly my Apple Pay is not working on my Apple Watch?

Anyone have some ideas what might have happened? I do the usual double click and move my Apple Watch near the NFC reader but ntg happened. No issue using my iPhone though

P/s: I don’t see the Hold Near Reader msg on the screen

Solved by turning of assistive touch and restart the Apple Watch

For anyone with a Singapore card here (DBS/POSB specifically), have you had any issues with using it locally in MY? Currently I have a DBS/POSB debit card, enabled overseas transaction usage, but the only one working is still only physical card, card added into Apple Pay still isn't working, re-added it after enabling overseas transaction, still wouldn't work. Anyone has any idea what the issue might be? From what I remember for the error messages on the terminal, it's all timeout, no response etc etc.

Hi, is anyone encountering issue of not seeing the option to choose Text Verification when adding card?
After I replaced my card at kiosk when I add my card to Apple Pay it doesn’t show up the text verification method
Called Maybank 5 times they tried reupdate my phone number and reset Apple Pay token but issue persist.

Then I asked my friend to try add my card inside his phone , surprisingly it shows up the text method. Same issue persist on when I add his Maybank card to my device , no text option but I was pretty sure there is as he is using right now. Any solution?

Happens to some user while adding AP. Just call Maybank, solve very fast.

I've called Maybank for 5 times , still not solved yet
They also have no clues

When u key in name at the add card details, did you type the name or just leave it the name that appear?

I add it via MAE app so they auto fill everything
Manually add i put my full name also same

Manual add try just leave the name default see can or not

Guess Maybank did something on my card cuz yesterday I asked them to reset Apple Pay token and I provided my SN/ IMEI for them to check

After a manually factory reset the issue still persist
I have no idea what to do now , Maybank told me no issue , is anyone here know Maybank's IT Department Representative?

For some reason it works JUST NOT MY IPHONE , my iPad can enrol with Text Messages option

Just a thought....have your updated iOS to the latest version? Ditto with Apple Watch OS. Do that and retry to add the Maybank card after that.

what is your version currently using on your phone?
last time i was having the same issue, but after i call maybank 1 time and the issue was settle, at that time my phone was on ios 16.4

No

Nope. Apple Pay, in essence, replicates the card. If the terminal doesn’t accept AMEX, it won’t accept the Apple Pay AMEX either.

This is the same for Apple Pay online.
