I think you should NOT say "Wednesday surely.".
You can refer to previous post and there is sifu already put a countdown timer, countdowing to 1AM Tuesday

Maybe because at the time of typing I’m fairly confident as I’ve seen from some tweets and now someone just explained to me and I’m alright.

Why bother with Apple Pay?

Getting better cashback from various other sources.

According to Maybank's Apple Pay FAQ document, you *will* get the same benefits you get when using your physical credit card, see question 28

Seeing as this is also the case for all other countries with Apple Pay, I don't see why would our local banks not offer the same rewards as physical credit cards as well

Same argument can be said about the "various other sources". There are tons of physical cards that are better than what eWallets/various other sources are offering.

Why bother with a lot of apps that you need to install on your devices when you can just use one? smile.gif

Some people can't be bothered with these cashback stuff, with their rules and regulations, and want to keep things minimal.

True as well but in some scenarios samsung/apple can be a convenience as well. I will use both ewallet and apple pay based on situations
*
why apple pay?

cuz merchants / their employees at times will either - swipe your card on their salesPOS (not CC terminal) or manually key in ur card details
> Safety purposes. You get more and more data leakages recently

That's the problem. That "one" is does not have wide enough acceptance to bother with.

Ewallets nowadays are pretty much superapp. It is not only for payment so you probably have at least touch n go or grab app in your phone anyway. 🤷🏽‍♀️

It's essentially the same underlying contactless payment technologies used in your physical cards, so anywhere you go that accepts contactless payment, Apple Pay is guaranteed to work with it (which is to say, virtually all Malaysian POS/card terminals)

If you don't see the use for it personally, then don't use it

Ok, imma share it if those techies don't know how to.

Wanna see MBB's AP live page without using wayback machine?

<link>?fs=e&s=cl

without those parameters, it will send u to 404.

Nah, wrong. Same technology, but implementation is something else.

Many retailers don't have a clue what is Apple Pay, let alone cash-back.

Then us as the adopters should use it more and bring light to people that doesn't know. AP is literally your physical card but with Apple's provided security protecting it. So it's in one or more way better than physical card payments right?
