I might be wrong, but I guess it will be the same like physical card? You can still wave it, then you need to put in the pin?

So, wave using Apply Pay, the terminal then will ask for the pin? if its exceeding RM 250.

Guys, will the app need to support the “Wallet” first, to link the card?

Or it’s not mandatory?



So far, I only see these banks have the wallet supported:
- Standard Charted
- OCBC

Hoping HSBC will do a push tomorrow :/

Once we have AP I would only bring:
- IC
- License
- Debit card
- Main credit card
- Few cash

Will no longer bring my secondary cc as hoping that I can rely on Apple Pay. Once I confident enough, I will leave my main cc at home too, I guess?

Will see how mafan it is first for the first month. I know some merchant put their terminal hidden and so hard to tap one. Zzzzz.

Still the same error until now.

My experience so far. Tried using Apple Pay @ Family Mart.

Using iPhone to pay:
- Since, I’m wearing my mask, my FaceId is not useful.
- I need to put in my phone code. Even with Apple Watch on my wrist.
- The terminal is located at a weird place, so it’s easier to pay using my phone.

Using Watch to pay:
- Easier to access wallet. No passcode needed.
- Terminal/ POS space is limited. Have to bend my wrist like a crazy people to reach the terminal. Loool.

Also, guys. Is it only me? Or the transaction from iPhone can only be seen from the iPhone Wallet. While the transaction from Watch, can only be seen from Watch’s wallet?

True. It’s actually nothing much. The true benefit is that you can “try” to leave your card at home.

I put “try” there after knowing there are some failed transactions. :/

I guess I will have more confident in a month time.

Also, if you’re using Apple Watch, it will be extra handy. No need to go to your pocket/ handbag and directly double click the button and pay.

Ok. Just confirmed MBB Mastercard CC (Ikhwan Platinum) failed at 99 Speedmart as claimed by others. Sad.

While Jaya Grocer is under GRAB.

Btw. I did my groceries at Jaya Grocer, The Intermark today. Still ok. They are still allowing AP.
