hi. i'm planning to subscribe to advance 30. if they are going to upgrade to 50mb next year, will the router given by tm for advance 30 support the 50mb speeed? and how about other 3g devices?

VIP5,10 and 20 will still enjoy the free calls once upgrade ..Its mentioned in TMnet's FAQ

u dont know what you're saying. i've had a few complaints to mcmc for yes4g and unifi. each time those service provider will endup calling me and offer me great solution to my long unsolved problems.

hi guys..if no port available for unifi in the area?..Anything we can do to speed up new port creation? Neighbour all using unifi..only me stuck with slowmyx now..

I received email from TM but same setting show unticked in TM mailing list. Tried to tick but at the end still show unticked. Seems TM not accept amendment.

What the different between free call from vip plan & free call from RM199?

These days they only give TP Link Archer C5 or D-Link DIR 850L. Both can work for Advance packages i.e. 30, 50 or 100.

Their free call said follow promotion, and random customer will be seleted. Just now I called MCMC again said I not agree with the answer.

Well, I thought you were asking for price reduction from RM 199 to RM 179 and give up on free calls. That's workable but well since you were asking to have free calls, then it totally depends on TM as this is not a standard promotion.

so if i'm using my 3g phone i will still get full speed if connect to wifi right? and 1 of my pc at home is an old pc running windows xp. i think the network port is 54Mbps only. can still receive full advance 30 speed?

My original package memang RM179. But the next day after activated, show free call

Two things here. 3G/H+/LTE has nothing to do with your UniFi package. It is two separate things. That depends on your telco package e.g. Maxis, Digi, Celcom and also your phone's capability if it can achieve LTE or just H+. Once you connect to your home WiFi, your data package will be stopped until your WiFi is disconnected. So, they are not related at all.

Regarding your network card, I can see it is quite an old one. Suggest you buy a better network card or USB wireless adapter. Else, I don't think it can achieve full 30Mbps.

It is removed again right after that? TM can always argue it is a mistake from their end.
