No matter what don't used the top-up your Paypal account using other bank option function. The money will be deduct from your bank account but wont show up on Paypal.

After google and read the previous post quite a few people were having this problem & some of them cant get their money back like gone into thin air between the RHB FPX and Paypal.

F**K, should have read here first before done the top up. There goes my 660 bucks sad.gif

I've read that there were some cases where complaints after complaints lodged will lead you to compensation from the PP part. I'll try find the links again to post up here.

Nothing will happen. As long as you have already send the item and provided with shipment proof.

On how to link Paypal and Maybank: http://me.zestful.org/tutorial-link-mayban...rd-with-paypal/

Steps should be similar with other banks as well, as other banks should have something similar to Maybank's Maybankcard Secure Online Shopping Registration thingy.

I had a very hard time finding out how to link my card to Paypal at first, with 3 different branches telling me I can't, when their brochure clearly states can -.-" The bloglink above was a godsend tongue.gif

If you're paying in USD currency in eBay, thus your Paypal balance have to be in USD too. Suppose that you have top up wrongly in MYR currency, the system would not convert your MYR to USD currency and instead deduct it from your Mastercard.

If that is the case, withdraw out your MYR and top up again in USD. USD is being used internationally, even if you are paying in other currency such as AUS, EUR, Baht, MYR, etc.

But again be careful when using the top up function. You'll have 50% chance your top up will gone missing. There's no need to top up since you already link your card to Paypal which available for direct debit your savings account.

Email to Paypal by clicking on the Contact Us button, they should reply or call you on the next day regarding to this matter. The banks would deny responsibilities, so the only choice is to go back to Paypal.

I'm still waiting for my refund. After email them (make it sound serious), they will call you mostly said will escalate higher priority by informing RHB to do refund but until till now nothing yet. I think better print out transaction details, emails & go RHB Bank and meet their customer service and made complain i think may have better answer, don't used phone mostly wont get what u want. and waste phone bills.

I'm not sure, but I believe AmEx should have something similar to Maybank's Maybankcard Secure Online Shopping Registration right? If yes, then you need to activate that first. Any website that accepts Paypal will accept Paypal regardless of how you top up your money.

It's as if Paypal is a bank. As long as the shop accept's Paypal's "credit card", they won't care how you pay the "credit card" bill one, since that is between you and Paypal and has nothing to do with the shop.

I had that same problem when I first linked my Maybank card to Paypal, but I could add and verify my card after doing that Maybankcard Secure Online Shopping Registration thingy. Did you check that, and did you also try linking it again?

I could add and linked my Maybank AMEX card to my paypal account but now I cannot buy online by using it...just now I called Paypal Customer service, and they said I cannot use Paypal linked with AMEX card because AMEX does not support Malaysian Ringgit..is it true?and this means all merchant that use MYR..I cannot pay them using my paypal-linked amex... sad.gif..so stress....
