PayPal Launches Facebook App for Sending Money to Friends

user posted image
PayPal has integrated with Facebook to launch a new app that allows people to send money with the click of a button via PayPal accounts. The name of the app is "Send Money”. This is a great app for the people who want to wish and present monetary gifts to their loved ones on their birthdays and other events.
Now in addition to Ecards sharing on walls and simply wishing people they can easily send monetary gifts through this new app. This will surely increase the number of hours people spend on Facebook.

True. I ask Paypal and they said they are working on it. For the time being, only merchant with USD can process Paypal linked Amex. All local online purchase you need to link another Visa or MC.

got, at least for me during most of my transactions. usually just plus/minus less than RM1 one, though at times I've had RM3+ difference.

That is now against forum rules. There were too many scammers. Basically what they did was 1) get payment, don't transfer Paypal or 2)transfer Paypal, get payment, reverse Paypal transfer

if your status is verified, that means paypal already accepts your card, so it should be no problem to do wtv you want to do.

My Maybank debit card is verified, but my first name and last name is reversed on my PayPal account compare to my bank account. However, fund withdrawal to Maybank account is successful.

Just want to share something about Paypal to lowyat community here.

As you know Paypal just teamed with cybersecurity, warning shoppers this coming Dec on the 'Safe Online Shopping Month'.
http://techcentral.my/news/story.aspx?file...136&sec=it_news

What yhey should also warn is the Sellers on Paypal procedures. I recently sold some items, with the funds clear onto my Paypal account.
I receive the notification on 'OK to ship' from Paypal

A few days later the nightmare begins, Paypal puts this payment on Hold and limits my Paypal account.
I called Paypal for an explanation and they said that the funds could be fraudulent in nature, and Paypal would notify the seller before shipping the item. The customer service on the phone even told me not to ship the item. Where's the logic in this when Paypal informed me that it was 'OK to ship' and I already shipped the items??

As I continue to receive some payments from other buyers, which I cannot ship due to 'Limited' account, I also cannot refund these buyers, and they placed a dispute on me. rclxub.gif

Anybody know where I can lodge a complaint?

Nothing you could do. Tell your buyer to wait as you are solving with the limitation. Eventually you'll have to lose away some of your business as it takes some time to solve the limitation.

My advise is to put a hold on your business until the limitation issue is solved. Mine is even worst as paypal will limit 70% of the transaction funds under reserve for 3 months every transaction. I got so fedup of this and I just create another new Paypal account.

Thanks for the reply. Does it mean that I did not lose my money? As the payment is on hold and also my account is limited.

I submitted some documents Paypal required, supplier information and contact but Paypal wants proof of address. It seems they an limit your account for virtually anything.

I'm so pissed right now vmad.gif
