I received no missing top-up funds because I keep receiving the error which made me impossible to top-up and receive missing top-up funds error.

What I need to know is, is it normal for CIMB to behave like that? Since I can log in PERFECTLY fine in another windows but whenever I TRY to top-up using it, I receive 'Login error' instead. It's annoying.

It's normal not just in Cimb but in other banks such as PBE and Maybank too. Because the Paypal top up function is not stable. Nothing to do with the browser actually.

So it's advisable to use RHB if you want to top up.

the same thing happened to me few months back... RHB refunded my money 1 month plus later

i just top up my paypal acc via fpx and i havent receive it yet.. called customer service, asked me to mail them some stuff... but im having trouble to which paypal email shud i sent those stuff... sigh

You should try calling RHB instead of Paypal. If cant solve then log in your Paypal and send them a message there. Sometimes they will award you $20 USD for the trouble

It depends. Sometimes more than 1 month.. Usually in 2 weeks should be solved.

Oh my god..... I topped up using RHB bank yesterday and it shown that the transcation is not successful but my money was debited from my account now

I've called RHB and paypal but nothing can be done at least for a week.....Now my supplier is going to charge me penalties and I got no money to pay.....

haiz... anyone can help on this on how to escalate the process and speed things up?

There's no way to speed it up as bank processes takes time. If you have a debit card, link it to your paypal account instead of topping up. So when there is any transactions it will deduct directly from your savings account. This sounds more simple than topping up.

After linking to your debit card, you does not need to top up also can send payment in Paypal. It will auto deduct from your card even though your Paypal balance is $0

I have just linked my AmEx card to my PayPal account and got it verified few days ago.

Just now I bought a Flickr Pro account and it was successful. I got my Pro account but when I logged into PayPal, it still shows "pending" in my transaction details. Is this normal?

I'm just afraid it will retract the payment after a while.

don't worry, it will take some time for the payment process to go thru.. =)

i make prompt payment usually even large amount. amex no min pay but full payment.. probably the reason they offer..

I have CIMB Direct Access which is a MasterCard.
Then this Maybankard 2 Gold/Platinum offers two cards either AmEx+VISA (on request) or AmEx+MasterCard (default).
I chose AmEx+VISA. In short I have VISA, MasterCard and AmEx now.

The AmEx is totally rocking like hell, get to enjoy 5xTP and 5% weekend cash back.
So if it not any urgent purchases, I will leave it to weekends. That's the reason why I made this purchase only on Saturday.
Just a little bit of disappointment, AmEx is still not widely accepted in Malaysia yet.

shops that accept amex still a minor in msia. VISA prefered but not the green head.. lol
