Went to visit the site a few days back. Honestly not sure what's the attraction to the place other than the 'Mont Kiara' address.

Issues;

1. Too far away from the commercial/cafe areas of Mont Kiara so walking there is a no no. Only feasible way is via cars which is a problem because..

2. Bloody narrow road! UEM definitely has to widen that road otherwise no way in hell residents can survive with 2nd/3rd cars parked outside ala Residensi Pandanmas. Can only imagine in the morning when everyone is exiting the junction to head to work. Bloody nightmare!

For now, it doesn't seems attractive. It's long term investment.

They will widen the road. It is in their and DBKL plan already. In fact, all the slums in Mont Kiara to be cleared in future, UEM Sunrise in the process to buy the entire land, now more than 50% villager sold their land. The land will be used to better & sustainable development.

Where can I get more information about this? Aren't the lands around there malay reserved lands?

its affordable housing for god sakes... u wan it to be located at Jalan Kiara 1...? how the other 800-1000psf condos who is oozing luxuriness located at those locations? car park issue is the same no matter how many car park given and anywhere in KL

lol bro. nothing against the affordable housing scheme. My issue is with the existing road connecting the main road to KK. Indra already answered my concerns that UEM will widen the road but I still think that the junction will be heavily bottlenecked especially during peak periods (morning/evening rush).

On top of that every resident will be forced to have their own car to head to work/buy groceries since KK not near any public transport at all. There's 700 units there so expectation is that 1000++ cars using/parking on the curbside EVERY day effectively making it a one lane road like Residensi Pandanmas. Just stating facts.

What you mentioned is actually small concern. Just observe any Taman with blocks of condos situated inside. It doesn't cause much issue. Even the bustling intersections.
