The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) welcomes Telekom Malaysia Berhad’s ™ commitment that it will soon submit a comprehensive report to the Minister of Communications and Multimedia, YB Gobind Singh Deo on steps it will take to resolve issues relating to its Streamyx users’ broadband service experience, taking into consideration the various technologies available.

The Commission is confident that TM, as the main fixed broadband service provider in the country, has the resources and capacity to upgrade and expand its existing high-speed broadband infrastructure. TM can also optimise their existing infrastructure to reduce cost and expedite implementation.

The implementation of this initiative is in line with the National Fiberisation and Connectivity Plan (NFCP) being implemented by the Government, which targets to provide fast, high quality and affordable broadband service for the rakyat. This includes Streamyx customers who
have been waiting for a long time to enjoy quality service at an affordable price.

MCMC also believes that upgrading the Streamyx service will provide a digital infrastructure that would benefit users in many ways; including expanding online business opportunities, increasing the production efficiency of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SME) in technologybased industries, attracting more investors to sub-urban areas, as well as human capital development through e-learning.

Another winning for me thru MCMC portal..

From rm140 to rm120 then rm99 for my 8mbps streamyx

Dont give up guys..keep your report open.

They also offer me Rm99 for 8Mbps, I instantly reject.

IIRC, some are paying RM88 for 8Mbps.

Unifi 30Mbps is only RM79/month.

U should accept the offer of RM99 for 8 Mbps.
Then 1 month later open another complaint

No confirmation call from them. I just check this status via my MCMC portal. Consider accepted or not?

Gobind ignore la. I also got try write to his email his service center his fb. I dun understand how my rd got unifi my high rise they can't even put support for unifi. Tickets were quickly close reopen and closed again. Ask Time (i think) they claim tm told them no service my area. 2nd time they told me port's full tm told them. Aiya I given up.... Continue pay for 4mb.

Do you have the report template?

Im just using the template at 1st page. Reopened with some explanation that someone can get rm99 for this package. You can include my screenshot as attachment.

Can reopen your MCMC report by saying that you want to verify the bill first. I did that and TM closed my report again after I received my RM99 bill.

After I reopened my MCMC report, I received the same RM99 offer through email notification, but they din call me at all, directly implement new price on the next bill...

I made a report too, took them a month to call me.

RM99 is still expensive for 8Mbps and shitty upload speed.
