I was on 4Mbps @ RM83, after few MCMC complaint and reopen cases, finally agreed to upgrade 8Mbps with same price.
Don't think my Apartment/Flat will have VDSL that soon, guess I have to live with that for now.

Go for digi infinite. Same price with 8m. Avg 80-140mbps.

Hi bro, I'm planning on changing my shitty streamyx, can tahan living a 2mbps speed in 2019. Can explain on how the postpaid work? does it include broadband or anything?is it possible to tether the connection to pc?

Me using infinite 150, unlimited data, hotspot and call.
It run 4g. So you need buy 4g modem.
And speed depend your area, line congestion.

Provided I got backup broadband which I dont. Somemore I'm on tm blacklist so cant argue much.

Tm dont do such charity.

My way works because I know there are 8M port at my place.
Anyway, this is what I did.

1. Ask for upgrade via live chat or 100. Make sure they open report.
2. Put report number and complain in MCMC (http://aduan.skmm.gov.my). If you wan to follow correct flow, can complaint to CFM first.
3. Endless loop of reopen report until resolve.

If that didnt work for you, go for Digi Infinite 150 or Unifi Mobile Bebas Weekly @ RM20 (8Mbps).
Both need to buy LTE Modem.

My friend get 8M@RM99, but that price only valid until contract end (2years), then revert to RM160.
Do you know if that price stays forever? Maybe my friend kena con...

i also hope they turunkan harga, but TM is a big company with many staffs, with high operational cost, so if they turunkan harga streamyx (with hundreds thousands of subscribers), their profit margin will drop signifcantly, and they will have trouble to pay salary, maintenances and also to supplier/contractors

that's why they never turunkan harga streamyx/unifi package for the masses, only increase speed while maintaining same price so that people feel satisfied

only a small number of people got their monthly price reduced, but only for special cases la, like the ones who spammed aduan so much

all these are done to maintain their sustainable revenue. correct me if i'm wrong
