High speed internet is needed. Even the term high speed broadband has its speed range increased in its definition to conform the current need of the internet users.

The price reduction is entirely up to TM. They have profited a lot thru decades of overcharging customers. Unfortunately they r the only sole isp provider in 90% of area. No competition = no price war, unlike our mobile telcos competition.

Summary of my case after complaint to MACC and SKMM.

hometown - 1Mbps/RM110 → 1Mbps/RM68

grandma house - 1Mbps/RM110 → 8Mbps/RM140

That tablet plan ke? Me that time also got this offer but T&C state that need to have salary below RM3000 baru boleh apply

I still remember that TM agent come to my taman and offer this hidden cheap package but have T&C.

Ingat ni tahun 2007 ke nak speed 1mbps
Now minimum should be 10mbps already

Next must vote Pakatan Harapan or DAP for the best

How much speed that we need actually?

How did you complain to MACC and SKMM?

If TM want to be baik.

RM30(1Mbps)
RM50(2Mbps)
RM70(4Mbps)
RM90(8Mbps)

Plus add more port. But one port in one place cost you RM100,000

We need Digi copper line in kampung area but old technology not support.
(Current TM Streamyx line)ADSL up to 8Mbps.
New ADSL2+ up to 20Mbps.

So maybe TM in future want plan like this. New and old area install ADSL2+ then we can expect kampung will have internet speed up to 20Mbps

RM100(5Mbps)
RM130(10Mbps)
RM150(15Mbps)
RM170(20Mbps)

ADSL2+ but still limit how far you from TM port box install.
If very far from box maybe can just get 1Mbps speed

We need more reports + complaints to make it like Maxis case previously

Meaning after I complain to MACC and SKMM, TM will upgrade my speed or lower the bill? I've just upgraded my 512kbps to 4mb. Rm140 per month.

Maxis berjaya bagi plan postpaid sampai 50GB pun sebab ramai orang port out dari terus komplen je.

Untuk TM. Kalau nak buat juga. Kena lebih kurang 100k ribu orang terminate.
