What is the meaning of retail spend? Any spend?
I am think of spend RM1000 in the 3 categories, then another RM1000 in other spend. But I don't know if there is anything not consider as retail spend.

Surprised at this announcement and the amount of min spending it went up to activate the CB
Anyway need to find new card for CB for groceries anywhere.

Talked to a CS just now concerning card cancellation. She double confirmed that the PAID AF can be refunded based on pro rate basis for my case. My AF was charged in July and If I cancell in Sept. I will be charged 2 months AF only. The bank will refund the balance 10months AF to me. She advised to wait for the CB credited (AUG) and submit cancellation thereafter.
I am planning to max out Sept spending and cut the card by end Oct.
So, anyone who want to cut the card and get back the AF can call to CS to verify again.

Really? Mine is March. Can I request for the Pro-rated AF refund as well?

Q: My average spend per month on WISE Credit Card is RM1,000. How could I meet the minimum RM2,000 requirement?
A: WISE Credit Card gives out one of the highest cash backs. One way to meet the minimum RM2000 requirement is to consolidate all your purchases on your WISE credit card, for instance, pay for daily shopping, dining, groceries, insurance premiums, utility bills as well as enrol for auto-billing service.

Seems Hong Leong now desperate to charge annual fee, even if you cancel the card

Because when i applied for Wise it's a combo campaign where i get dual card.
Similar to M2C.
Therefore i assumed if i want to cancel Wise, the GSC card have to be cancelled as well.

QUOTE(fruitie @ Sep 9 2016, 05:30 PM)
No la, it is two different cards, not like M2Cards. You can cancel Wise only. smile.gif
*
are you sure?

hlb combo cards cannot just cancel 1 card. u must cancel both. ppl previously already reported this.

I am sorry, I might have missed something in between, but why would it be otherwise? Isn't that how it work all along?
Sorry a bit blur today, why can't you just stop using after 1 Oct ? Why have to do minimal transaction?
*
oh cos the september cash back will only receive in october..

so if i stop using in october n stop the card, how they pay me the cash back? hmm.gif

thats why i plan to spend Rm100 on the card in october, contra the cashback rm100 for september.

Then after you get the cash back, you can cancel your card and ask them to transfer to your CASA or other HLB cards. Others have done that and it works. I have not tried it out myself.

hmm dont have other cards from HLB. i'll just swipe rm100 on it in october, seems like easier route instead of transffering cashback biggrin.gif

need to try apply PB VS for dining rebates. if cannot get then go for HLB Mach.
