Its a sign of micro sd failure. I have this issue on sandisk ultra. Random 1 beep sound indicating memory recording failure. Change new memory card no issue. So far using samsung evo+ and sandisk high endurance no issue.

Afaik we need to buy something called celllink to prevent battery totally empty for parking mode right?

Not necessary to use celllink. Alternative way is powerbank, hardwire kits. Normal hardwire kits is 11.6v cutoff voltage. Higher end hardwire kits like black magic pro or vicovation vico power plus is voltage cutoff can be set by user.

I like vico power plus since its came with button switching to active parking mode or bypass. Im a vico power plus user here.

I don't recommend using normal powerbank as the li-ion batteries are not safe when using in the car especially in our hot weather.

Cellink Battery B or Thinkware iVOLT Battery Boost BAB-100 for dashcams are using LiFePO4 which is safer. That's why more expensive.

With beeping sound? REC blinking with beeping usually mean not recording or fail to record. Microsd failure.

The parking mode time lapse video is just 1.5x speed playback. Kinda hilarious when I view it. Haha

Timelapse... Even those premium dashcam is timelapse recording in parking mode. Then normal recording if got triggered.

I'll check again. Haha. Cause I don't seem to see any normal recording but instead the time lapse recording in video format.

2 possible issue here. either the memory card failure or the firmware setting go haywire which you need to resolve by flashing back the firmware or updating it. btw what memory card you using? from my experience even sandisk high endurance will have unexpected issue on write/read on new card after couple of day using without formatting in the dashcam. After formatting the card in the dashcam, the problem no longer persist. Formatting helps clear the card of extraneous issues from standard use.

things that you can do to isolate the camera nor the memory card issue.

for isolating memory card
- format the card in the camera
- default the camera setting
- change to another recommended memory card. (u may refer to carcamcentral or dashcamtalk)

isolate camera
- default setting
- reflashing the firmware or updating the firmware. please default the setting once you fully flashed the firmware.
- you may want to format the memory card in the camera one more time before recording.
