Earlier ordered it from lazada, now they canceled my order and the price is now higher without the coupon. Reason seller give to other customer is that he doesn't have enough stock. wtf... lazada has refunded my money back. Anyone facing same issue? I am planning to buy one, any recommendation on where to get it now?

Dear sifu, where can I get the kit for direct power draw? How does it look like? Can share link to the product in Lazada or eBay? Thanks in advance.

Regarding the micro sd card, must it be class 10, Max size of 32gb?

Aliexpress got the original Viofo hardwire kit... Remember to get with the fuse taps (US $11.99)...

Minimum must be Class10 or UHS1 for the micro SD. Max size can go up to 128GB for A119. 32GB can record 2-3 hours. Sweetspot would be 64GB.

the idea i have in mind is that having a 128gb storage will increase the lifetime of the sd card by 2x of 64gb since it doesn't need to rewrite the same memory location over again and 4x longer than a 32gb sd card. per gb wise, its also cheaper... keep rewriting the memory location, not sure if the memory card will last a year for 32gb

I believe the memory card has 10 years warranty. And another thing, our phones are also constant writing memory location especially for Android phones.

So technically should be same concern as you have.

thanks for the heads up

I just bought 128GB Samsung Evo+ UHS3 for USD48 from gearbest...
Mostly all will void the warranty if spoilt by dashcams or IP cams. Only those High Endurance is covered.

Get those microSD using MLC chips not TLC chips like the cheap Sandisk Ultra.

Is this the one?

Edit: Using app its USD 48.99

Edit2: I am so confused by the local merchants who are listing their products.
Samsung 128GB/64GB/32GB EVO Plus Class 10 Micro SDXC with Adapter Up to 80MB/s
Samsung 128GB EVO Class 10 Micro SDXC 48MB/s Memory Card w/ Adapter MB-MP128DA

Which is it??? zzz

Evo plus is the red color card.

ok, thanks!

Edit: but the red one is only 48MB/s compared to the orange one which is 80MB/s, are you sure?

Doesnt matter but there are few speed version out there in the market from samsung. 48mb/s is enough since viofo a119 bitrate is 20mb/s like that.
*
In that case, I suppose the 45MB/s would suffice?

After some research, i am planning to buy samsung micro sd evo plus 128gb U3.

Those using class 10 or U1 micro sd, are there any quality drop in the video?

What do you guys think of this one? It's class 10 but based on SD 2.00 specification, where bus speed is 25 MByte/s. Will it able to support A119 20MB/s bit rate?

Hm... Not really sure about these for dashcam use... Couldn't find what NAND chips they are using.

Best to go with Samsung Evo or Evo Plus to be safe or any High Endurance micro SD.

Gearbest got this weekend only sale for 128GB Samsung Evo Plus UHS3 for US47.99 (RM161+-).

Hope this email link works here.

The seller replied me, saying the one I shared earlier won't work with the dashcam. Seem like I'll just proceed to get from the link you provide

Edit: btw bro usd47.99 translates to myr203.57 le

Hi people, may I ask which fuse point should I use for Honda City 2008-2012?

Should I look for 2 Amp, 5 Amp or 10 Amp fuse? Are they sold in a set of 10?

For hardwire? 10A is more than enough.

Is 2amp necessary? Or lower is better such as 5amp?

Not necessary to use celllink. Alternative way is powerbank, hardwire kits. Normal hardwire kits is 11.6v cutoff voltage. Higher end hardwire kits like black magic pro or vicovation vico power plus is voltage cutoff can be set by user.

I like vico power plus since its came with button switching to active parking mode or bypass. Im a vico power plus user here.

Can recommend where to get vico power plus?
