are they ALL like that? or only ONE particular torrent?

if ALL then something else is wrong. if ONE then it is "file not found".

I have installed the latest java and utorrent. Tried to download some files in utorrent but found error 500. Have checked "startGUI.bat" with server running. Got the screen exactly likes you showed before.



Questions:
1. Do I need to change the user-agent in order to solve error 500? If yes, show me the steps how to change it and save them before exit? (many thanks...)

2. Besides using the softwares that you recommended above, do you recommend any other softwares (more friendly version), so that I can download files from utorrent easily?

3. Any idea that TMNet is going to solve this problem? So that we could download files like before without using PAW?

Does any of this software work with Toutu? Cant connect to tracker and DHT is 0 for most torrent.

no, it does not allow all peers/leeches of all torrents dl. i DO get a few outside peers/leeches that can dl/ul - but these torrents are not "popular" ones, so they have very few seeds/peers as it is.

i don't think which the user-agent matters. tho' i have tried a few types and they are more or less the same result. most of them are in this bad way too - stuck and going nowhere.

have you or anyone or is anyone already using bt client forced encryption with proxy server?

uTorrent behaving weird

I'm using utorrent and something weird keeps happening.. in queueing I set 7 maximum active ul/dl and 5 maximum active dl but after every few hours almost all the torrents in queue seem to start downloading, and this makes it hard for the torrents at the top to dl properly as everything slows to a crawl.

Bug?

check and see if you enabled(under advanced settings) don't count slow dl/ul

use enable outgoing encryption and allow legacy for flexibility.

if ISP is really "heavy" on blocking bt then force+disable legacy - not sure if tmnut is "heavy" - seems pretty heavy to me - but my max speed is possible (not throttled) if the "conditions" are right.

i'm only suggesting encryption so that we would connect to "E" clients which may prevent tmnut from detecting it and improve traffic between here and "foreign" peers. my foreign leechers/peers with "some" traffic all have the "E" flag on.

ot: too bad utorrent has sold out to cohen (the bt inventor!) who is pro r*AA and m*AA, and anti-encryption.

seems that the connection is going back to normal...can see international seeds and all that but getting very poor speed...should i turn off ht eproximotron and set back my connections to pre-proximotron???can someone guide me on this..

can see international peers but slow connection, RM88 dowloading at 50kb/s

From what i know, emule cant be block in anyways. You can connect to anyone else without any problem. But only thing is that you will have difficulty to connect to servers, the same case like hard to get trackers as BT. And when you are being block or partially block to servers, you will get low id and eventually low speed.

for emule, just need to make sure your port is forwarded to obtain a high id, and most important to upload enough to get high queue-ing point.

I experience low speed too last week, Fri to Sun, but after Mon, it's back to normal.
