Look, if you can connect to the tracker this solution works for you already. The fact that you are getting a list of seed/peers proves that it works. The errors you are getting is from tmnet's blocking of international peer connections.

Also, changing the client doesn't really make much of a difference. Who you are connected to plays a much bigger role. Personally I would recommend staying away from BitComet, BitLord etc. Many trackers don't like them and may get blocked by default.

Dude, if you mean 50-60kBps you are downloading at pretty decent speeds already.

If ANY OF YOU used this solution and can download using bittorrent, this solution has worked for you. THIS TOPIC HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH YOUR SPEEDS.

Anyway im very confuse with why use Utorrent works edi then switch to Bitcomet and it cant work, then switch back to Utorrnet and it cant work as well ....so how to understand this ?? dont tell me both also being blocked ..??

yup most of popular client user-agent has been blocked.. try using ABC..

i configure PAW for Utorrent... able to connect to tracker but all international peer and seed are either not transferring or being kicked... then i saw the 1st few page of this thread got some1 say that bitspirit had this user agent feature settings.... i dun understand how it works... can some bitspirit user gimme some guide?

i tried set the proxy for bitspirit but when i press test it says that proxy doesn't work or time out.
result same as utorrent... find peer but no connect... but as far as i see it found less peer... even after i forward port for it...
i need a complete guide please... super noob here


about the user-agent strings.... i read through wikipedia still i have no idea wad it means and how to configure it in PAW's header-request. anybody got screenshot to show how?

god damn it
2 days ago i dl stuff as usually
all the sudden the speed go like 150 kB/s full speed (which is very rare 0.01%)
then my bro he need to use the pc so i close the utorrent

after few hours i come back and open the utorrent
all the bt become red... until today still red

so now i think again... that could be the time when tmnut staff do something on my line

just tried proxomitron..... installed and run it.... configure it... set in utorrent localhost and port 8080. result.... tracker all fail to connect... closed by peers... time out...
wonder what i did wrong....
switch back to PAW..... all turn out fine... download some series and as i look at the peer list... i was like..... WHAT THE HELL.....
CONNECT SO DAMN MANY PEERS THROUGHOUT THE WORLD....but.........
only receive transfers from malaysian peers..... my gawd..... the alll other connected peer and seed are there only for show
SAD ah... my other torrents kenot move at all.......because no malaysian peer

yesterday after 11.30pm TMnut throttle my p2p again

since 23th Jan, my Tuotu suddenly can't connect any international seeds n peers... from the list only can connect msia IP. before that still can connect international IP even though only can get low speed like 0.1k but now TOTALLY can't connect any international IP. anyone having the same problem as me?

all bt become red and some bt even worst, the tracker status saying "connection closed by peer"

there is 6 user-agent on the list.. pick one or edit one of them to become like this..

i edit 1 but still i can't connect to tracker using proxomitron.. but with PAW i can..... swtness..

haha... from wat i understand it's juz temporary... but then due to the speed increase in normal web surfing... i doubt it... if TMNut Shityx(I named our ISP so cuz they are basically a nut shell full of Shiiiitt ) have any brains... they should realize tat most of us subscribe to their service for 2 big reasons which are:
1) gaming
2) torrents

the rest are secondary...

Anyone ever got a user-agent proxy to work with BitComet? I've tried a few, it just plain dont work....

Downloaded uTorrent and it works like a charm... of course throttling still on, but do notice the throttling is relaxed during low peak hours.

So, if you guys are still using BitComet and still having troubles to connect to trackers, just switch to uTorrent or some others.
