im using F9, reach 2.6 with no probs. max OC im dare not to try yet as new very good cpu cooler is required to do that. but of course u can go higher if u got BETTER cooling system and D9 chips!
yep

+12v = 33A
+5v = 35A
+3.3v = 35A
*
2.6 is low as im using previous bios oso can reach 2.8 easily..

QUOTE(vassalle @ Jan 1 2007, 09:42 PM)
am using f9 rite now.. max stable is still at 460 fsb. it could be my ram or my cpu reaching a limit already.  cry.gif

other than that, nothing much to report actually.
*
i wil try F9 soon..cz F7 the max i can go is 450 only...other than tat i need real high vcore..

QUOTE(mikelanding @ Jan 2 2007, 12:28 AM)
I using F9 also...FSB475X7 @ 1.45v....100Mhz better than previous with acceptable vcore... thumbup.gif  thumbup.gif
Just remember to load fail safe/optimized setting b4 flash...to reduce the risk ....
*
wow...anotehr forumer report F9 higher oc..brows.gif

QUOTE(Dominatrix @ Jan 2 2007, 11:11 AM)
1.45v for 475x7 is too high  shocking.gif i use 1.36v for 486x7  smile.gif idle 48-50c load 55c
*

I've got a weird problem here.. Manage to pass 6 hours of orthos @ 460 x 7, but as soon as I shutdown my computer, I cant boot it up back. (those kentut's that you get when you fail an overclock.) Pretty annoyingg..

Im using ds3[f9] with e6300.

Does it work?

I've toned down to my previous day to day oc @ 400x7. Still no restarting errors yet. But just find it annoying that at max stable settings, i cant restart the computer! rclxub.gif guess its not stable after all.. mad.gif

Considering getting the Asus P5W-DH deluxe mobo to be paired with E6600. Has anyone got experience with this mobo and is there any particular thing to look out for in purchasing this mobo - i.e. revisions, etc. ? How about the Asus P5B Deluxe ?

Also where is the best place to get this mobo from in terms of price ? Thanks.

P/S : Yes, I am expecting to OC and expecting to go beyong 3.8 GHz with swiftech storm watercooling.

if U had read through many threads...U should know the only way to determine wat ramp chip used it by look at the chip itself....
