the first email is just an acknowledgement of application...they don't further communicate with you if approved, they just send the cards to you....

For any card application I submit through email, I will always call up around 3 working days later and provide my IC number to check if my application has been received and indicative approval timelines.

It's nice to know things like how many stages it needs to go through (e.g. Whether to expect a call from bank, or if cards will be sent through courier or normal post) so I do this out of habit rather than waiting for the card to arrive.

Applied for AM credit cards on 13th Dec , today called and check operator says "Your application is being process"

Almost half a month .. Wondering why are they taking so long to process

I applied Citi cards 2days know the results and within 7days got the card via pos laju

wow, if got 15% disc, then no point to use the starbucks card anymore.

starbucks card = buy 10 free 1 drink = roughly 10% discount (free drink can be redeemed only after 10 purchases)

ambank = 15% discount for every drink

I don't drink Starbucks often as I have caffeine allergy. If it's a good deal, I can drink other stuff there.

Unless Starbucks having promotion such as redeem for a planner etc

Otherwise, can use AmBank credit card

Two promotion:
1) up to 15% discount for beverage & food
2) if reload RM200 using AmBank cc, a complimentary tall drink

Can have a cake or food there if you like, or drink lemon tea
