Applied for AM credit cards on 13th Dec , today called and check operator says "Your application is being process"

Almost half a month .. Wondering why are they taking so long to process

I applied Citi cards 2days know the results and within 7days got the card via pos laju

3 months is unusual .. Normally will not be over a month will get to know your result.
You should call cs to check for takes so long ..

AMBank seems like speeding up their card application process now days .. Previouslly could take more than 1 month

Yes need to inform bank which country you going before travel . I think it is common practice by all the bank to avoid any fraud case happen

Spend RM 10 only earn 3 bonuslink points , seems like not worthy .

AMBank card really king of PPL access compare to other bank . Hope they won't cut off this benefits or add on any spending condition to access PPL in future

Bank will mostly look at your repayment record thru ccris / ctos . If your record is clean and your annual income meet 48k per year , i think there will be no issues of approval.

Why do you want to apply another VS? For ppl access?

For your application its consider really fast , 2nd march apply 8th March got approved . I applied on January , took up to 2 weeks to get approval . And my dad applied platinum card too from 22 feb , until now stil in progress

So for me , it depends on the manager whether they doing their work fast or not .

The word platinum in Visa card is more visible compare to Mastercard

The design of the word "platinum" shows in their website is no longer exist . New visa card the platinum word is like this

For Mastercard , yes i agree , seems like bank hide the word platinum, quite hard to see.
But for this Visa its clearly show out the word platinum

Hopefully ambank won't cancel the ppl access for platinum card . As many bank outside there a lot already cut off this benefits for plat card.

You can apply for Visa Signature instead of Visa Infinite if below income requirement.

I agree with Fruitie , Ambank card is quite easy to get . Because i just establish my own company 1 year , and they approve my very 1st credit card.

I tried to apply hlb and mbb , both bank told me if self employed, company that establish below 2 years can't apply even if i have other loans on hand that can prove monthly repayment record is good.

My uncle wants to apply Ambank platinum cards , so i intro him to apply platinum card from Wati. Today he just received but the card that sent to him was Carz Platinum card . So immediately called Wati for verify is the card sent wrongly , she explain and say Carz plat card was actually same as normal platinum card , additional benefits were this card given 2% rebate on petrol spend where by normal plat card don't have it. So in the end my uncle just accept it .

Weird thing is for Carz platinum card , Ambank website didn't state out that this card is entitle for 2x ppl access. But Wati comfirmed that every platinum card is entitle 2x access.

But for me the design of normal platinum card looks much better

When she verify my uncle details she told my uncle that will apply platinum mastercard , but didn't mention it is Carz Platinum . So after receive the card my uncle called her , she say that it is actually same benifits with normal plat card , and she comfirm that Carz Plat card is entitle for 2x ppl access . Then my uncle go thru a live chat at ambank website and cs comfirm that also.

But its okay for him lar since he say cincai . Btw he is going to travel soon , so lets see is the card able to access lounge or not

48K for Platinum card . They have lowered the income requirement from 60k to 48k.

They approved for both Platinum Visa & Mastercard for you? I heard there's people apply visa & master but Ambank only gave either 1 only

Walk in to any Ambank branch or call their credit card department and apply via agent will be much more faster than using email .

Yes , carz card platinum is same with normal platinum card , can access 2x ppl per year
