for local spend, Mach VS gives 3RM = 1EM. much better than 5RM = 1EM..

haha sometimes i think cybpsych is a bot. Not only he gathers promotion, he even know who posted what and when!

on the 8 digits promotion, out of all my successful swipes, only 1 received an sms saying that '8 digit has been spotted on your recent purchase and continue to swipe more bla bla bla'.

Is this sent out randomly just as marketing tool or it means only that swipe gets the CB?

I have the same experience as you. Card approved before raya, received all the stupid SMS ask to activate card. Call CS to ask, they don't know where is the card. Just ask me to wait.

I got it once but did not get the  CB.

Last week I complained to CS thru AmONline about the B1F1 code that never seem to arrive. At the same night, it did.
A few days later, the CS sent me another VIP code which is different from what they sent to me in mail.

So, if you are still not receiving yours, just 'message' them in AmOnline.

App and booklet have almost identical merchant lists (didn't check one by one, but majority of the major names all popped up). However, the mechanics of the app seem complicated to me. It lists down each location for each merchant, and have to click individually. Has anyone tried redeeming anything? Perhaps I'm a bit of a dinosaur and can't keep up with technology lol.

Hardcopy booklet is quite small and easy to read. Just tear voucher and spend with AMB card at any of the branches. Difference is that hardcopy vouchers are limited. I'm not sure if app can use again and again at the same location.

I have uninstalled the app and will just carry my booklets since I have 2 .

Used my Ambank B1F1 app for the first time at a dining outlet, the Daily Grind in Bangsar.

Was very good value for 2 triple decker burgers. Paid RM45 including taxes  and burgers were huge. Initially thought I would never use the app, but now may return and also try a few places.

Anyone else used the app and any recommendations?

I just got to know that we need to make separate payments to both principal & supplementary cards, I thought just pay the principal the full amount and AmBank will sort out the rest.

I thought this is strange as both cards com at the same statement but the CS insisted that because both principal & supplementary cards are different 'class', hence we need to make separate payments.

FYI, I am referring to WMC.
