Guys, what is good tires for bad road condition plus rarely used car? Other than michelin because my current michelin tires rarely use but it got crack.

Tyre crack will occur overtime due to heat from our weather. I’m guessing by bad road conditions your looking for something more comfortable? May I know your tyre size

185/55/15 stock alza rim size. It was rarely used about 2 years then I drive it often now it started to crack.
I'm probably not gonna drive this car often after this year. So I'm looking for tires that is durable for 3 or 4 years with estimated mileage below 30k km. Maybe falken or viking? I dont know man. confused.gif

At first I want to buy conti cc6 but I think it's gonna be waste of money. Goodyear assurance duraplus seems good. How much per donut is it?

Yes. All tyre will crack eventually depending on brand. Best is to check weekly the correct tyre pressure, run it at least once a week and less put it under the sun,

if you are not going to use the car very often, goodyear duraplus is not a good option.. it is a high mileage tyre suitable more for taxis etc... You will find tyres unusable when there are still a lot of tread.. my 2 cents

Just bought conti cc6 today. Rm160 per donut. Quiet ride plus eat bumps like a boss. But of course cannot beat the grip of previous michelin xm2 tyres. Anyway thanks guys for advices.

Yup that sounds like a good deal. It shouldn't get much cheaper than that.

Is it this one:

They are India made Apollo Alnac 4G and Amazer 3G.
Looking at the picture, the tyre finishing is quite poor compare with locally made tyre.

Finishing bad, does it compromise the performance?
Here another comparison. Dunlop SP sport J5 on the left 185/70/14 and Apollo Alnac 4G on the right 185/65/14

Another photo Apollo Alnac 4G on the left 185/65/14 and Continental CC6 on the right 175/65/14

Ohhh.. The treadwear for Apollo Alnac 4G is 280 surprising low as for Dunlop J5 is 340 and Continental CC6 is 380.
