Want advice regarding my new problem. I just change 205 50 16 falken 914 to 205 45 17 maxxis ipro victra.  As expected,  noise is very significant n ride comfort reduce as expected.

What is the most comfortable,  quietest n lowest rolling resistance tyre with good dry n wet grip for my next change.

Or do u have any suggestion to reduce my problem for time being. Im driving ford fiesta 2010.tq.

any diff for michelin Thai made with Germany made? sumbody told me the thai made wear very fast... is it true?

Hi folks, I would like everyone to have a look at my tires and provide your comments about them (Size 185/60 R14):
Front tires, installed late last year and covered about 10-15k before being rotated in May. After that covered another 8k.

RHS. Advanced wear on the sides. Common knowledge says this is under-inflation wear, however I have constantly maintained it at 33PSI and checking every 1-2 weeks.

LHS. Noticeable wear on the inside, some additional wear on the outside. Similar wear as the RHS tire only less severe.


Rear tires, installed early 2014, covered about 60-70k before being rotated in May.

Scrubbing, noticeable side wear and little cracks. Again, looks like under-inflation wear although I have constantly maintained 33PSI. Are tires supposed to start cracking like this after only 2-3 years? Its driven everyday but always parked under hot sun.

Last alignment adjust was in May together with the rotation. What kind of alignment issue will cause wear on both outer sides?
For standard 13" is 30PSI, but i'm using 14" and 33PSI

Front RHS tire have extra wear on inside + outside and quite bad.
Front LHS tire have extra wear on inside (minor but noticeable) + outside (moderate)

Rear tires both have extra wear on inside (moderate) + outside (moderate) + scrubbing

Or else, you may refer to the attached photos.
Stock 13" tire pressure is 30psi, if 14" should be slightly higher I think?
I spoke with a friend who suggested it may be the front lower arm bushings have given way. 

performance is good? i want a last long tire, current using xm2, going change tire soon, now decide between xm2 or bf goodrich tire

Budget is not a problem since 15' won't go any further with the price. Thread wear also not a problem as I will change tyres every 3 years.

003 wet grip is bad when hitting 30k km...

Tyre Type & Profile: Michelin XM2 175/60/R14
Tyre Aging: 3years/26000km+ (changed in Aug 2014)
Maintenance Status: Perform tire rotation, balancing & alignment yearly
Condition: 4 tires worn evenly, no sidewall cracking, or abnormal peel off on tread

Symptom 1: Front left suspension vibrates much while doing right u-turn on wet road condition (raining)
Symptom 2: Front right suspension vibrates much while doing left u-turn on wet road condition (raining)

The symptoms only happen on wet but not dry road condition.

I have no idea.

i just changed my stock tire for Proton Iriz 1.6 MT. From 195/55r15 to 195/60r15. I was told later that my speedometer would be inaccurate due to increase in tire diameter. I just wonder if this truly was a bad tire change. Or is it possible to recalibrate the speedometer?

I'm in sales so I drive a lot. On average I drive 3300km/mth. Durability has to be my top priority then comfort . There are many driving method to compensate on "lesser" grip tyres.

Anyone can help get quotation from 185/65 R15 for Nissan Almera at Kota Kinabalu, Sabah? Including alignment and balancing.
Has been using stock CONTINENTAL CC5 for four years, low mileage the threads still looks ok but I am sure the rubber is already quite dry after four years.
