People might say PS4 more quiet is compared to PS3 (which is never known for being a quiet tire to begin with), but should not be by much. More comfortable than PS3, I'm not sure about that coz PS4 has stiffer sidewall compared to PS3 to improve the performance level to be more sporty. PS3 is known to have a bit softer sidewall.

The V12E2 trades off a bit of performance compared to PS4 for softer sidewall and lesser noise level, with much cheaper price. That's why we recommend this tire for you. Compared to T1S, the V12E2 is superior in ALL aspects. Toyo tires in general especially their Japanese made are overrated/not worth the price!

Well some people can tolerate more noise than others. PS3 focus is never silence to begin with, that's what I mean. it might be ok for performance level tires but the noise level is just average meaning would not match those mid range comfort level tires like Primacy 3ST for example. To be honest I actually also agree with you, PS3 is still silent enough but noise is also never my top priority in tires. But for some other people who are less tolerant than us, PS3 can be a bit noisy to them. I got several friends who are like that, hence my comment above. 

As for CSC5, yes it's more noisy than PS3 but to me even that is still ok!    CSC5 performance/grip is better though than PS3, especially in the dry.

Hmm no I'm not trying to oversell anything. PS3 is indeed a pretty good tire. I know coz I'm using it as well along with the V12E2. I don't agree the PS3 can match the low noise level of the V12E2 and I also don't really think the PS3 is grippier than the V12E2. The only advantage the PS3 has over the V12E2 I feel is the aquaplaning resistance but overall dry grip the V12E2 I think is at the very least equally good if not better. Note that this V12E2 had even been tested against PS4S (not even PS4!) plus Continental Extreme Contact, the latest PZero PZ4, and F1A3 last year by Car & Driver Magazine and it can give those top tires a run for their money! So considering how well it stacked up there, I'm not surprised that it would be better then the aging PS3.

I'm planning to replace my stock tyres to CC6 but there's no 175/65/R15... Would 185/65/R15 or 185/60/R15 works? Thanks

Guys, what is good tires for bad road condition plus rarely used car? Other than michelin because my current michelin tires rarely use but it got crack.

Tread depth of course play a major factor in aquaplaning resistance so cannot compare new vs old tires as the aquaplaning resistance will degrade overtime.

Even with P3ST is still not so bad for your car (even though maybe not the best decision given the budget since you can opt for UHP tires at cheaper price like the Hankook V12E2). Yes I've also seen way too many expensive cars yet on crap tires, either for 2 reasons: they know but simply don't care coz they only care about showing off with their fancy cars and nobody will notice the shit tires they have, or they really don't know good vs crap tires hence just follow whatever the nearest shops throw at them which is still somewhat more understandable even though still rather foolish.

I actually only reemphasize what the other forummer mentioned before me if you read above. I never said the V12E2 is the absolute best forever either and I always say 'at the moment, or as of now' or something along that line. If you've been reading some of my posts here, even when the FK510 released or about to reach here, I also already mentioned about this tire to be another excellent candidate, so I know tires will progress and there will be newer and better ones. Instead of calling names, didn't I also applaud the forummer above for using PS4 on his old car? I also never forced anyone to buy stuff of my suggestions anyway and I just gave my logical reasoning. It's up to them how they take what I said. If they can give better logical reasoning for their choices or views then fine by me too but if they cannot but they take it the wrong way then well that's their problem too. You need to read carefully what I said before trying to "keep me in check".
