Hi all, currently using Goodyear GT3 175/65/15 on Honda City GM6 stock wheel due for a tyre change, if I upsize to 185 range or 195/55/15 will it be too wide from stock sizing?
Any recommendation for comfort/silent usage, having the thoughts of RE003 in mind, but don't think it will silence enough since it is more on performance side, budget around 200 per piece, thanks in advance.

Just replaced my new City stock GT3 tyres to CC6 185/60/R15 (no 195/55/R15 available...) 180 per piece but shop accept trade in so consider reasonable for me. Shop at Taman Midah.

Aiyo, size 195/55/15 got many excellent tire choices leh, why choose that low-end CC6? For that size you can buy Hankook V12 Evo2 for just rm170/pc which is SO MUCH better than CC6! I just bought a set of V12E2 for my son's car.

Currently on Primacy SUV tyre with treadwear rating 440. Any recommended replacement?I need soft and quiet ones. I think this tyre is kinda stiff with hard compound (more than 400 treadwear)

lol. I've been using CC6 for a while so I tend to stick back to the same model. Never knew V12E2 is much better but I'll take note on that thumbsup.gif

up 1 size to 185 is good.. try not to fit in 195.. honda city e/s spec ori rim 15 inch 5.5jj only... imagine you have size 8 feet and wearing size 10 shoe?

as for re003 if you wan comfort/silent this is a no go.. re003 is a performance tires.. and alot of feedback re003 perform not so well in wet.. last note for re003 : treadwear 220

Hi all,

Any recommendation for 215/45/17 tires for Honda Civic? Budget around ~300-350 I guess?

Currently using RE003 for 2 years. Time to change soon.

Guys, want to ask recommendation. need to change my stock tyre 215/50r17 conti mc5 soon.
my usage will be normal city driving and occasional highway driving.
I am considering these 2.

1) conti MC6 - found a cheap promo on lazada for about rm350 per donut
2) michelin PS4 - cheapest i find online is RM525 per donut.

Cos am thinking whether is it worth the rm175 different for the ps4 since just for normal usage.

Instead of MC6, I suggest you try the Hankook V12 Evo 2 as it has that size as well. It should be even cheaper than the MC6 but yet more proven internationally as a solid high performance tire. Currently in Malaysia market, this tire is the best bang for the buck. I'm using this tire on 2 cars now, my wife's and my son's car.
