Anyone did any research for car a good dashcam? Any expert shop in klang valley?
I'm looking for :
1) dashcam that can record with decent resolution day and night.
2) start recording when the car is hit when parking.
3) optional, dual channel (2 cam, one in front, one in the back)
4) optional, GPS
Better be careful with dash cams and reverse cams especially with cars controlled by ECU's.

I installed a 3rd reverse cam on my new BMW and it messed up the on board electronics. Had to get it removed. I've now installed the original BMW reverse cam. Cost me RM4,715.

Might not be an issue with the Civic but best get it checked carefully before installation.

I messaged Carbi Deco on FB and they quoted me 2 prices: RM3.3k for full leather seats, door trims and handrest. RM2.8k for leather on seats surfaces and half leather on other surfaces. They even sent me a pic of a 1.8S they just did today. Looks neat enough.

My SA offered RM2.8k for full leather instead. Still thinking whether to go for it.

Really impressed. ..heard u need to leave yr car for few days right?
I like a 2 tone colour. .perhaps trimmings of another color. I think I was amazed with some interior leather in white and black trimmings which I saw on videos.
By the way, there's is also synthetic leather which is way cheaper and perhaps durable. I'm afraid most they give are synthetic without one realising .

It's really easy. I followed this video in my earlier dashcam setups.

Now I go thru the A pillar for a more neater cabling. I've done for my City 2014, P2 Viva and Axia and friend's HRV... It's really easy to DIY...

Here's my City

and Viva

For the xiaoyi dashcam, try looking in lazada, gemfive or 11street. Can get it for less than rm200.

2. Center Armrest : RM 200

Full leather including seats, door panels, and armrest : RM2800

3 important questions which we need clarification for:

1) What guarantee do we have that the new leather seat covers have taken into account the special stitching required for deployment of the side airbags?
2) Would our warranties with Honda Malaysia be affected by this after market leather seat covers?
2) Who is Carbi's leather supplier and what type of leather are we getting? Nowadays imitation leather is so well manufactured that its very difficult to tell the difference

Workmanship is amazing. Original seats have grey/black stitching. I think it will look good with Red stitching and bits of Alcantara. I find Alcantara much more comfortable vs. leather in our climate and it looks fantastic going with leather and red stitches. Wonder how much it will cost going with Alcantara + leather...
