QUOTE(claxxion @ Jul 10 2016, 11:40 PM) Yeah it's done after market. I'm used to leather seats in my current ride. Just wondering RM2.8k is reasonable or not. Plus leather is easier to maintain and children friendly. I never thought about the seat airbag warranty. Will ask my SA further regarding this. Hi, am thinking exactly the same as you, tp get the 1.8 but want leather seats. Do update once ypuve spoken to yr SA. :-) For those having 1.8, hows the fabric quality so far, does it get smudged easily, comfort, rtc? My pet peeve is its also fabric on high contact parts like door handle, and armrest doesnt sound like itll stay clean for long.

QUOTE(Xstan @ Jul 11 2016, 11:32 PM) I spoke to 3 SA in Ipoh, 1 SA mention that if u want original Honda leather they have to get a specialist frm Taiping to do up and is not cheap. 1 other mention that Honda don't give optional purchase for leather. ..better and way cheaper to do up outside which cost RM2K +. The other mention he can recommend a very reliable one that may cost RM3K includes panel. Best part is u can choose your leather even customised it 2 tone colour. Cool... Thanks for the reply bro. Seems consistent that all are doing it outside after car is delivered. If so... am considering just wrapping the door handle and arm rest in leather, that way it should be quite safe that aftermarket leather does not mess up seat airbags. :-)

QUOTE(Kentucki @ Jul 12 2016, 02:04 PM) I think original leather also won't feel the same as the original seat from 1.5 turbo. because after all, it is still wrapped under the fabric seats. will be getting mine 1.8 on august. Salesgirls said if take the leather from them, it will be nearly the same as the ori seats from 1.5t, but my friend which is a SA who work there say otherwise. unless you change the whole seat to leather seats, not wrapped in leather anyhow, i decided to wrap the door and armrest in leather only, the fabric seat is not that bad anyway, so gonna leave it and probably change the whole seat (to leather) if really found a nice one. Haha exactly my thoughts too bro. Any idea where to do this in klang valley, and what costs for door handle and armrest only? :-)

Reply i got from carbi deco. Was asking if i do only door panels + center armrest, or entire car.
Hi... if it is done seperately.. 1. Door panels (4 units) : RM600 2. Center Armrest : RM 200
Full leather including seats, door panels, and armrest : RM2800

QUOTE(ddr3 @ Jul 13 2016, 09:30 AM) What kind of leather they use? No idea actually. Not even sure what to ask for to be honest. Napa leather? :-)
