Tinted it long time ago... I'm using INFRARed, a USA tint... Not too bad for the price I paid, but not as good as V-Kool, I guess. smile.gif

who knows the weight of the stock 14" rims? my tyres going to be bald soon and have the itch to change to 15". So I would like to get the same weight or lighter than these existing ones.

But I think the 14" rims + ducaro ga should be more fun to drive and easy to make them squeal. I have a bad habit of doing this at 1 roundabout just before reaching my house when the coast is clear.

Wonder how the 15" will feel if compared to the existing 14" 's in wet and dry and when I get abit pedal happy??

Yup, i have mine tinted already. Can feel the difference and really not as hot as before. Also noticed my sentra after tinting looks darker than others, probably due to the original glass having some tint already.

Also I would advices you to stay and watch them do the tinting job so that you can see how the seats are removed, what's in between your doors, lookout for any bad workmanship and so on. Quite a sight to see your car naked internally haha..

.... finishing my 1/24 r32 skyline model soon.

Oo.. 1 more thing. When i got the car.. i also filled up a form myself to get the Drive ON Magazine. Those of you that drive a nissan should request for this magazine as well. It's free.

If you upgrade to 15", you'll probably get 195 60 R15 tyres, meaning ur new 195 tyres will be wider, which translates to improved grip...

My B14 is currently using a new set of 205 50 VR16 Yokohama A.drive R1 tyres. It's a mid-range performance tyre, it's surprisingly quiet and it's got very good grip but it doesn't grip as well as the previous Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 (German made) I had, that one has excellent wet grip.

Sadly no... No changes in power delivery... I drove an Indon friend to LCCT yesterday afternoon so I have a chance to test out the new plugs... While on the highway, at certain RPM (around 2,800 to 3,000 rpm at 120+km/h), the engine choked and white smokes starting billowing out of the exhaust, I press on the pedal a bit more, then no more smokes, as I let it go back down to 2,800+ rpm, the engine starts to choke again and white smokes started billowing out again... sad.gif And white smokes would come out at 2,500 rpm as well... Lots of it, actually... cry.gif Funny thing is, normal driving (in speed less than 90km/h, there's no smoke at all...

I suspect something is wrong with the ULTRA plug cables... This morning, I changed back to the OEM cables to check if there's any similar problems, haven't notice anything yet though... Maybe after work I'll go on the LDP and check...

There's only 200 units of SR16VE N1 in the world. Very expensive and rare. I've taken a ride in a fren of mine's SR20VE N16 the other day. Quite intoxicating laugh.gif

The exterior temp readings is only available on those models with digital A/C. Locally? Nope.

Tint? I used to have tint, but now running bare... Coz I tear it off liow laugh.gif

Yes, the box and the plugs got the code "IK16" printed on it. It's the correct plug. But since I've changed the plug cables back to the OEM one yesterday, so far no white smoke problem... This morning, I tried revving my car up to 5000rpm while on my way to the office and no white smoke yet... That's why I believe the culprit is the stupid ULTRA silicon plug cables I've been using for the past few years... shakehead.gif

Seems like my car's white smoke, engine choking problem has disappeared after changing back to OEM plug cables and got power improvement some more... Nice... rclxms.gif

A lesson learned here today... High performance cables are TOTAL BULLSHIT!

I totally agree with you. I once used a set of performance cable before and my symptom is worst than you, where my car will choke like hell when the engine is started.

Once change back to stock cable, every thing back to normal.

The technician said the cable got power leakage.

Radio antenna's fixed outside the car's cabin rite, so tinting the glass won't effect it. Well unless the tinting shops worker's accidentally damaged something or they manually tune your radio?
