Hi! I'm a Sentra N16 FL1 owner.

That hotshot header isn't available anywhere in Malaysia. It's only available in the USA. There was a project to immitate the design as it gives the best power (7hp for a 1.8M (US Version) if I'm not mistaken) among all.

But sad to say the project failed miserably...

I finding a good sentra header because it really will make your sentra VTC work more powerful!! i already changed my sentra Header to 4-2-1 with all the piap change to same big like FronTier Paip. so now when my engine run over 4000RPM = [ VTC ON ]  The VTC Open you will feel the car like got a Turbo Power make your car more powerful run!! the feel is better then FronTier Engine over 2000RPM Turbo On.

If You don't believe me, you can try at your Sentra. make sure your sentra is N16 or N16A and QG16DE or QG18DE Engine With VTC Technology. i'm trying is "QG16DE"    1.8 will more Power some one will try at 1.8 Sentra?

Mine's a 1.6A, using 17" and I've had mine full exhaust system done up together with open pod (self made CAI). Together with Irridium plugs (dunno which model though), VS and ground cables. Not much of a difference, really. Maybe it's the heavy wheels, I don't know...

Frankly, I don't think VTC is that powerful when it engaged. Not much power can be gained with boltons for QG engines. I'm guessing the real power is in the internal works?

There's only 200 units of SR16VE N1 in the world. Very expensive and rare. I've taken a ride in a fren of mine's SR20VE N16 the other day. Quite intoxicating laugh.gif

The exterior temp readings is only available on those models with digital A/C. Locally? Nope.

Tint? I used to have tint, but now running bare... Coz I tear it off liow laugh.gif

For PreFL, there's some shop selling in KL I think (made in Taiwan, I think) around RM200 (black, non painted). There's none available for 1FL due to 1FL model not available in Taiwan.

PreFL's grill can fit onto 1FL, but it's not a flush fit due to slightly different contour. Needs some customization to make it fit nicely...

Hi guys, I'm not selling my car?! What makes u think I'm selling my car wor? *blur* Yup, autotrader should be a good benchmark for secondhand cars...

Guys, RM33 for the ori filter is crazy man... I've been buying from PH Auto (SeaPark) for RM16 a while now. All their Sentra filters comes with a Japanese markings. I think they parallel import it from Thailand? Not sure, but it's definately ori.

If Sentra's replacement is here, it's going to be Slyphy. That's the replacement in Japan. TC is bringing in a limited numbers of Teana is for sale. RM2XXk man... BTW, Fuga is of the Infiniti range, same as Lexus is to Toyota. Way above our bread and butter Sentra range, IMHO.

MingSon, I can bring in some EL meters for our Sentras. It's meant for PreFL ones, should be the same IMHO, but u have to take the risk if it doesn't fit properly. It cost around RM150... Let me know if you're interested?

Cheers!

I jus recently changed both... Cost me around RM150, inclusive labour for some chapalang brand.

If you're looking for original belts, it's gonna cost almost double that, IIRC...

1.5, 1.6 or 1.8.......dun buy hotbits yet.....research abit before committing. There are some custom guys who do a V. good job.

Plenty can be done to these engines, its all a question of $$$$$. If 1.8 duh..go SR20DET lo or SR20VE. If 1.6 then SR16VE.
*
Err... I think he's asking about modding the original engine, not changing it though... wink.gif

There's currently 2 choice, ready made. Hotbits and a chapalang brand (local). Hotbits is better from performance point of view as it's mandrel bent which should offer better flow that the crush bend chapalang brand. That's in theory. I haven't seen a back to back dyno sessions for both.

dude... R u sure Sebring and Borla has extractor for Sentra N16?!

IMHO, there's oni two types available off the shelves locally.

1. Hotbits (mandrel bent)
2. Chapalang brand (crush bend)

Both priced around the same with Hotbits slightly more expensive.

The best header/extractor for the QG series engine would be HotShots from US. If you can pay the money, that's the best bang for buck, NA wise...

Toe and Camber (and Caster) are settings found on wheel alignment, which is related to the suspension...

Find out more about Wheel Alignment
If I'm not mistaken, N16 doesn't allow caster angle changes. We can however hav camber (with camber screws) and toe settings.

That's not a real 4-pot, it's those caliper covers that's available in accessories shops such as Brother's or Eneos... smile.gif

Bro, please find the link to another angle of the same care here...
http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c154/nis...0N16/Slide5.jpg

FYI, as far as I know, there are atleast two N16 that is running on NISSAN 4 pot calipers (I know 1 of them, which he is using the set from R32). That's not those elcheapo 'Belembo big brake cover kit'. Jus my two cents.
