QUOTE(ldhong @ Jun 14 2016, 10:50 PM) Hello. I just went for thumbprint at MOM this evening. Just want to check with taikos here. If without the physical EP card can we open bank account and subscribe with mobile line? OCBC doesn't take IPA, valid card required.

QUOTE(totti 10 @ Jun 19 2016, 10:38 AM) I think I got the DHL scam call. But joke's on them, cos I don't speak mandarin. The only word I got was DHL I got a call from AIA, in Mandarin as well but it's Sing type of Mandarin. I told her I'm not interested and she just said thank you and never call again. Not sure if this scam or not but "hey this is singapore, aren't companies' calls are expected in English??"

QUOTE(EddyHyip @ Jun 22 2016, 01:34 PM) my sibling has graduated in dentistry course in Malaysia, and he spent his time in India for his studies (Vinayaka University). is there any guidance on how he can get a placement or job as a dentist or related in Singapore? He needs to send his resume to dental clinics and get an offer first. Then have to sit the exam to get dentist licence for SG. Got 2 exams i heard, with some time gap in between(not sure). After passing exams then the employer will apply working pass for him. P.S. One can only sit the exam twice in a lifetime, and both attempts have to be done within 1 or 2 years. P.P.S. Only certs from uni recognized by SG is able to get an offer, like medicine SG only accept UM UKM, dental I'm not sure. Or be a dental assistant, that's what my dental friend's assistant does. He holds a dental cert from Philippine's uni.

QUOTE(Freedom15 @ Jun 27 2016, 11:41 AM) I used my rental contract with my owner as a proof for DBS account... I tried with OCBC but they didn't accept it...OCBC staff insisted to use another bank statement or phone bill as proof...What a pain in the rear... +1. So I just went for another bank.
