You can't change it but you can request it to be resetted.
The new password will still be a gibberish mix of numbers & letters so it really doesn't make a difference

I thought it was something wrong with my router as I just updated to the latest firmware. Went through the hassle of downgrading and reconfigured everything back. End up with the same problem.

On the side note, anyone knows how to change PPOE password? Mine is too weird 😂
*
It is a system generated password, therefore it looks weird.

That gibberish mix is the whole point though... Otherwise most customers password will be:-

password
unifipassword
myunifi
hello
abc

or something stupid like that. You only have to type/copy-paste this password ONCE when setting up your router, also very hard?

I wasn't complaining about the gibberish mix of words & numbers
I was just stating that the password will be a mix of gibberish mix of words & numbers

If the password is gone missing/forgotten, it is very easy to retrieve back by calling CS or just use this way: http://www.flyingspaghettimonster.com/portal/forums/show...ad.php?t=396652
I don't know where I wrote mine but managed to find it back by adopting to the trick shared in previous link, then I can successfully set up my HW880. biggrin.gif

Please do report to TM and let them find out what is the problem.

My last month incident:
WAN light was constantly on but no internet access within 8pm to 11pm/12am in weekdays.
Reported to TM and technician came to replace a used wifi-router (RG-DLINK-WBR2300), still not solved, then came again and replace with brand new wifi-router (DIR-850L), problem solved.

I still left two months to complete 24 months contract with TM, none of my wifi-router and Hypptv still have warranty. Didn't expect they come and replace wifi-router for FREE. rclxms.gif

If you have budget, go with Asus Wifi-Router. brows.gif

**Not DSL light, it is WAN light

Thanks for your help. Probably I should get tm to come by. But it's most probably weekday which is a little inconvenient

If you dont want to buy an Asus router, you can ask TM to replace you with one TP-Link Archer C5, it is way more better than any Asus router with the price below RM300. Also, the light indicator shows up is DSL not WAN. If you dont beleive me, I can proof that to you.

- Your silver modem is connected to phone port.
- You stay in Condo/Apartment/any other high rise buildings.

The Archer C5 TM replace for free? Because I just applied for relocation... not sure if they gonna get me this router... How's the wireless ping and coverage?

Actually I thought I need to fork out some money to buy a better router because I always play online game so need good ping...

There is an AUTH light next to the LINK light, but it is not on during normal operation.
