Just another question, how you all take out the AT&T sim card? the card slot seems lock in very tight...damn...i use small pin to poke the hole but canot one?

guys do u guys have the caller ID problem? i sync my phonebook. all number as +6012, +6019, +6016 ..... if call come in display number as 012xxxxxxx only! no name. I have to edit all my phonebooks ???

any solutions yet?

yes keeekeee, u just have to delete the 6 as the country code for malaysia. Its like from +6012 to +012. Im up for iphone TT. hehehehehe!

yeah have to edit all of my contacts. troublesome. another problem is if i travel then i have to edit them from +012 to +6012 to call back again. man ..... so not a solution yet.

well, its not the firmware problem actually. it is because at first i don't know how to go into "restore" mode. After i made it to "restore" mode and follow the instruction on this website http://iphone.unlock.no/ it WORKSS, my iphone is now UNLOCK!!!!!!!!!! YESSSSSS.....and after i hard poking the hole, the stupid AT&T sim card come out and i replace with my maxis sim card then use it to connect to T-mobile (another phone line service provider in US) through my maxis sim card and YEAHHHHHH....i got signal bar on my unlock iphone.
I guess it shouldn't be a problem for me to connect bck to maxis when i bck to malaysia

Im attaching the pic of unlock iphone with signal bar...wohoooo...bye bye my n73 and ipod video, im gona sell u both out...wuahahaha....gona sleep now (3.41am here!!!) and tmr gona try to call out and sms see can get through or not.

Don't delete the country code prefix. Google is your friend, more so than LYN There are mods that will allow the iPhone to properly recognize the Malaysian/GSM/international format. Google for iPhone number mask, it's not perfect yet but it should work.

It pays to know what things you are doing before you follow them blindly. I'm surprised that people just simply press Home+Power buttons without knowing explicitly what this action does. If I'm evil, I can just simply write a guide to destroy your iPhone but instead post it as an unlocking guide. It pays to do little reading on what the processes in the step-by-step guide does.

i dont know whether firmware v1.0.2 is limited here or not but seems to me yesterday alot of ppl queue up to get their iphone. If this keeps on, i think the old firmware stock will finish very fast.

so tis means that DIGI has no problem to make a call out, recived a call, send sms, received sms and also use it to online? i just bought it and straight unlock it without any hesitation...hahaha...brave enough huh? anyway, it really just quite simple to unlock if u follow the instruction given from the website.

hi all. i just get my new iPhone, but how come my wifi cannot connect to my airport base station? do any 1 experience with it b4?? it keep searching but never got my wireless connection listed on the list.. so sad..

update ur airport base station firmware to the latest.. then ur iphone can be connect..

currently whats the status of maxis using iphone in malaysia? previous post said it is able to send and received sms, can call out but just canot received call rite? is the status still same now? then how about internet using maxis (not using wifi)?

got mine working flawlessly in UK(O2), was worrying when i go back, cant be used in any of the Msia networks.
