new on this stuff...so i heard that iphone is capable to be used here in malaysia (great news)..
i really interested to know more on this hackin stuff..hope u guys might kindly share wit me.already took up surfin all the stuff of the iphone, n got rather confusing (too much tech stuff i suppose):heh: do they have the right tools n tutorials available?if so, kindly pm(share) |

hola peeps,
thanks zc_squash n omniatlas. nway, i got maself a zip file containing the right tools (ibrickr,winstaller,pacay) +tutorial.after reading the tutorial (which seems pretty helpful with step by step (include pics) which certainly help most.)  i found out that u need an at&t sim to be inserted to get started...???help.. |

besides...callin issues on maxis, can anyone confirm with me about other features/apps that doesn't work?
tested on a fren's iphone..celcom works both call/sms.. but :can't play youtube apps,bluetooth connectivity (not tested bluetooth headset yet) mail apps.. dats all i manage to test. unlocking service?? pm me.. This post has been edited by trixx316: Sep 25 2007, 12:38 AM |

peepz,
i'll be gettin my own iphone, early next week...so rumour gettin on sayin the next iphone firmware upgrade (1.1.1) will be releasing soon. then how am i suppose to upgrade mine now? to unlock...need fw 1.0.2.. ???? |

i've been reading alot lately thru several available forums..most people are having difficulties on unlockin and after unlockin probs... n there is way too much apps distribution goin on..here n there..everywhere!cannot figure which is the most reliable ones..dloaded most of em..  y dun they just make one place to get them all??so dat everyones uses the same method.. now im very scared to unlock my 2nd phone...dayum..  anyone here did manage to unlock more than once? currently on videora iphone converter...haven't tested yet..but seems promising. this is the kinda same app i used for converting videos to my psp.

darn...my iphone arriving next week..

hey guys...

i know theres downgrader for it...but it just downgrade the fw but not the baseband fw. so meaning cant be use it as a phone.
not risking it at the moment.. |
