i was wondering, even if we went to the US to get the iphone.. but how does the AT&T contract works?

im thinking, the phone is locked to AT&T anyway but if we don't register with AT&T..then all we get is a locked phone, right?

wah now i have more than enough budget [:

you don't have to subscribe to AT&T when you purchased an iphone from the US. when you buy an iphone, you are required to activate it via itunes. so if you dont activate it, then you just have a locked iphone. but since there's countless ways to unlock it, then..lol...

theres so many paranoid people in this thread.

doesn't mean when u purchased the iphone for 399USD, its compulsory that you sign up with AT&T and get billed monthly..thats entirely up to you..not them..

why doesn't iphone support 3rd party apps ;/

thats just sad..and if you try BAM! your iphone turns into a BRICK and you have to buy a new one. thats just facism...
