Mine easily 10-11 hours SOT on mainly internet stuffs with no gaming
On mainly LTE
*
I only surfing, whatsapp, Facebook and video less than 1 hour.
With wifi & 3g smart switch. 40% of time is screen off.
I suspect my battery having issue . Or 4G can save more battery?

Some photo shooting from my wife's Mate 8
Quite sharp she said...
& a lot camera functions can play around (she's play DSLR so she know more about those manual setting)..

so for real users of mate 8 here...thinking of either getting this or s7 Edge.. i know the camera of the s7 is great and reviews of the camera of the mate 8 has not been good....one site even mentions HDR makes no difference in this phone...

While I have a DSLR - I don't always carry it around...so looking for a worthy camera phone after i sold off my IP6 + smile.gif

Check your wakelocks first. Google if you don't understand what this is
Weak 3g will drain battery

Best camera phone based on my usage : S7e, LG V10, Nexus 6P
Mate 8 is quite good enough for me. Don't rely too much on those reviews as most of them based on development n not actual updated firmware

4g will drain more because most telcos dont have strong 4g coverage, except maybe maxis. Thus, forcing ur phone to constantly switch to 4g when there is coverage eats batteries.

Personal experience on a s6. In setia alam, no 4g, 3g also pretty weak. Kept surfing and refresh webpages, in less than 4hrs my battery went from 90+% to 5%

Does anyone here have the problem of the phone wallpaper being a shade darker compared to when viewed in gallery? For example, a pure white wallpaper will look darkish somehow when set as wallpaper.

I turned it on from day 1 because I noticed the screen is less sensitive than Samsung phone. I can't feel the difference either. Tested with the same thickness of gloves and it's definitely still lose out to Samsung screen.

Any1 have this issue where the FB pictures won't load up using wifi? I had this issue until I hard reset my router, then it become lightning fast, pictures loads up almost instantly. But yesterday it came back again, could it be my router issue? Use my mobile data has no issue though, even only H+ also can load up pretty fast.

Previously before I hard reset the router, browsing is also quite slow. Now my browsing still okay, except for FB apps only.

Really? I read on XDA it works but cannot kacau the phone as in using while charging. I should try to use the ori charger and compare...

I have one. Will try to charge from 1 digit percentage tonight using the ori cable. Since i got the phone on Monday haven't got the chance to charge from almost flat battery. sweat.gif
