QUOTE(latte36 @ Apr 22 2016, 07:21 AM) Anyone here using this device with "glove mode" on? Lol. Just curious because i really can tell the screen sensitivity is < samsung. I turned mine on. Feels the same only lol I turned it on from day 1 because I noticed the screen is less sensitive than Samsung phone. I can't feel the difference either. Tested with the same thickness of gloves and it's definitely still lose out to Samsung screen.

QUOTE(sKy^pAna @ May 8 2016, 02:16 AM) anyone know which tempered glass will perfectly fit mate 8 screen? I use pavoscreen glass SP. Quite fitting for mate 8. It covers right until the black border of the screen. Before this i installed a cheap tempered glass SP but it was not fitting and affecting the readability at the screen edge. Removed it immediately and wasted my money I got it from this dealer. https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=3903398&hl=

QUOTE(ashx @ May 11 2016, 05:25 PM) I've been using this phone for about 1 month. Some observation. 1.)Battery rocks! 2.)Operating tempreture while gaming is the coolest. 3.) One thing I missed the most is the physical back button. I'm surprise no one mention of this. Some games/apps made the virtual button go background. So i cant use it. Had to use the floating button which means extra steps. That's my pet peeve. All in all, it is a good buy for me. U just need to swipe the bottom of the screen or right side of the screen if in landscape mode to show the on-screen button

QUOTE(benny888 @ May 24 2016, 09:19 AM) What do you mean by " screen less sensitive " , that even makes you frustrated ?? - another hardware defect ? If u tap lightly on the screen (as light as u can) especially on the tip of your finger, u will notice sometimes the screen will not register. Means it need slightly higher pressure or larger surface area for the screen to register your touch. Not sure if it's only specific to my unit. For other phones like Samsung the screen will register even with the slightest contact. Not really a big issue, but I can be OCD sometimes.

Just updated to B320 a few noticeable changes noted - different camera UI (same with P9). Pic quality need further testing - ROG battery saving mode...which is pretty useful while still can use all the apps unlike ultra power saving mode -Whatsapps icon now appear as the contact pic in round shape instead of just the icon -others are just minor

I just revert back to B320 from B321. After more than a week on B321, I noticed the battery draining is more. From my usage pattern previously, I can consistently getting 6-8 SOT from my usage pattern. But with B321 I can only get around 4-6 SOT. The usage pattern is the same and no new apps installed. So I don't know what's the problem.

When I switch off WiFi and use data, it works fine. Weird... I've deleted and downloaded the Maybank2U app several times and I tried it with my wife's S6. Works on the S6 with WiFi/data. weird...i have no problem using the M2U app both on wifi and data

QUOTE(teng_08 @ Jul 8 2016, 09:27 PM) Just tested the M2U app at my parents place connected to their WiFi at home. It works fine. Lol.. So looks like this problem only occurs when I'm using my WiFi at my own home. Maybe I should clear the app cache. But not sure how to, anyone care to guide/explain the steps? Turn of your phone. Then reboot pressing both the power and volume up button. Release when u see the huawei logo. It will bring u to a menu where u can select the option to clear cache

QUOTE(latte36 @ Aug 14 2016, 11:20 AM) Should ask why stay on b193? Ive tried 180, 320, 321. 320 is my fav. Somehow my batt just goes down really slowly. Easily achieve 7 hrs sot with maybe 25% batt left. I've been switched back to B321. The battery life almost similar with B320 after I clear cache. Generally it's quite stable and never encounter any issue yet. The only difference I can find on B321 is the option to eject the USB OTG from the notification panel. It's not present in other firmwares and it's quite troublesome to dig into settings everytime to eject.

I ordered something from Lazada few days ago. The delivery was fast but they wrongly delivered it to the wrong address. Luckily that person return the package to me. There are always risks with online purchase
